Ascension & Skulduggery

The Christian life, when you think on it, is an ascension, a journey upwards to heaven in Christ. Our architecture proclaims the same, steeples, arches, windows soaring up to heaven like Chesterton's proverbial "flight of arrows."

That said, we particularize and focus the movement in tomorrow's Feast, celebrating Christ's being taken up into the heaven to sit in glory at the right hand of the Father. Yes indeed, our great High Priest who has entered the Holy of Holies in eternity. The veil is torn asunder.

Speaking of which, here's our top soldier in a camo mask, because nothing says warfighter leader like a camo mask. Thanks, LL, for the image and I'll resist the heady urge to say what a "mountebank buffoon." In related news, the US Navy's gone hot for a drag queen recruiter. Xi and Putin quake in their boots knowing diversity is our strength and their weakness.

Do you remember the Ukrainian trans Unicorn Battalion? That did pretty well against, you know, pronoun ignoring weaponry. And go figure, a bullet doesn't care if your pronouns are satanically they/them. Perhaps there's a moral in that, if you care to draw it.

Sunday Reflection

Hope you're all having a beautiful Sunday, worshipping God and having fun. What is it people do here, go out for Sunday brunch? How delicious and I'd enjoy it too but can't because of Mass #2. Oh well.

In other news, it seems China's occupied Bagram AFB, which we abandoned to our frenemies the Taliban. Via Zero:

Months ago, Bagram Air Base became center stage of the calamitous withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan. Since then, foreign policy experts have opined that it will unveil the next act of that tragedy in welcoming growing Chinese interest in Afghanistan. Now, the page has been seemingly turned onto that chapter. This morning, it appears the next stage of that plan may be unfolding following multiple confirmed reports of planes landing at the airfield across social media and mainstream outlets.

Speaking of which, do you remember our highest ranking general telling the world that he opened backdoor channels with China, promising to inform their leaders of any impending hostile US action? That's right, the same General Milley who instructs junior officers to read books on French pastry cooking while rainbow wondering about "white rage." What. A. Traitorous. Old. Fraud.

Chicaney aside, how big, do you think, was this uniformed, bemedalled, mountebank's pay-off?

You Wicked Old Fraud

Old Fraud

Look at this wicked old fraud, he's our top general. That's why he called up Chinese generals saying that he'd warn them before we attacked them, if we ever did.

Maybe because he's such a great general he led our troops into victory in Central Asia. Whoops. That's why he has so many medals, on account of all the wars he's won. But don't worry, zhe's busy fighting the race war.

Mountebank

Gotta sort out that old white rage, eh? Whatever the hell that is, and in the meanwhile drone 10 Afghan civilians to death because "top ISIS-K leader." He called that "righteous." What a killer, what a wicked old politicized fraud mountebank shill of the NWO, and don't think for a second that the troops are pleased. They're not, trust me.

War's a racket, said someone important, and Woke Mountebank Fraud Milley exemplifies the maxim. Picture his afterlife in consultancy after leaving the service, Met Galas all 'round.

NWO Shill Loser

What utter turpitude, betrayal and, evidently, callous disregard for life itself. Sorry, ten Afghan peasant people, we've got some PR to do, time to die.

Maybe you remember our Savior's words, "He was a murderer from the beginning."

August Von Mackensen

There's a lot of talk in the blogs about cavalry right now, so it seems right to highlight Field Marshal August Von Mackensen, 1849-1945, a man who spanned a century of remarkable change, from horse to its mechanized equivalent.

Mackensen was an Hussar, Leib-Husaren-Regiment Nr. 2, and fought against the French in the Franco-Prussian war, gaining a commission. Marrying well, Mackensen was promoted to the General Staff; Von Moltke, of all people, found him "a lovable character." Very different to other staff officers, such as general Milley.

He became adjutant to the Kaiser, the first commoner to hold such rank, and was duly ennobled in 1899. He served with distinction in WWI, commanding the 9th Army and later, Army Group Mackensen. He was awarded the Pour Le Merite for successful actions. Hans von Seeckt, his Chief of Staff, described him as a "hands-on commander with the instincts of a hunter." Unlike, say, General Milley.

Mackensen was promoted to Field Marshal in 1915, and awarded Oak Leaves to his Pour Le Merite. From there he served in the Balkans, against Serbia and Romania, commanding Heeresgruppe Mackensen. On "6 December 1916, on his 67th birthday, he rode in on a white horse and moved into the Romanian royal palace." Quite unlike US generals, such as Milley.

Mountebank Goon

A remarkable man, by any standard, unlike general Milley. But question, why did Mackensen have less medals than our brilliant war commander General Milley, did he win fewer battles?

Ride On,
