Ah, the Normans. Did great things, taught the meaning of the word 'vendetta' to the Sicilians, brought out one of the first big renaissance movements in Europe, were the reason the 1st Crusade succeeded, tamed Scotland, Wales and Ireland, and then... bred and assimilated themselves out of existence (for the most part.)

Did the "DNA" thing on Ancestry and it says I have longboats full of Danish Viking to compliment my British genes. Essentially "hi we're here to punch into your Eastern shores and make things better for you". Why can't we have the same fun in Greenland? I loved the alien story LSP - good stuff.
