You want fast? Listen to Jimmy Bryant. He operated in the 50s and often performed with steel man Speedy West. His playing was fast and clean.

Then there's this one. Joe Maphis was a legendary guitarist of his time, and Larry Collins a 10 year old kid who could stay with him.

Finally there's the incomparable Roy Clark who mastered multiple stringed instruments. A friend of mine knew him and said he really enjoyed entertaining. It shows.

Not my favorite style of shredding, but, it's only rock 'n roll, and I like it.

This style of shredding is a bit more to my liking. The tragic Roy Buchanan, one guy, one Telecaster, no pedals, no fuzzbox, just one man hurtling towards his destiny, may he rest in peace.

Whoa, Wild, TELECASTER MAGIC. He leaves Blackmore in the dust, imo, but that's just me.

RIP indeed.
