Feet of Clay

Managed to get out in the field with my brother - he's visiting from Wales, and had a go against the clays. They lost, badly, as did a pumpkin, which was soundly beaten by .45 hollow points. Fortunate the opposition couldn't shoot back, I always think.

Great thanks to all who've left such good messages.

Shoot straight and God bless,

That's cool! Awesome you get to spend time with your brother. In high school, I went to Wales for an exchange program and stayed there for two weeks. I absolutely loved it!! I love the countryside there. Have you heard of Builth Wells (thats the town I stayed in)?

Sounds like a great day with your brother.
Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to go to a shooting range. It was the first time in my life that I actually fired a real gun. (There's a post up on my blog with some photos.) I had a great time and hope to do it again soon.

Well done CL - will have a look at the photos and am sure you're a natural shooter.

More guns please.

Ah, so great to see you out with your brother. Great to see you back here as well. I missed you and your blog. You are so interesting and I do adore the way you make time to respond to everyone who stops in here. You are a kind, intelligent, compassionate man LSP... hugs sent from across the miles tonight... YIKES it's not that much night left! Good night and God bless you and your family.

Glad to hear that you've spent some time with your brother and that you've managed to get some fun in too.

Thoughts and prayers are with you.

(OH and "Conservative Lady", I went to your blog to check out your photos and couldn't find them :( - please post link)

Thanks for your comment: feel free to quote at will!
I've been away but I am really sorry to hear about the death of your father. May he rest in peace.
