He's Back

We thought it was over and heaved a long sigh of relief but no, Piers Morgan, known as the "most hated man in journalism," is back. And attacking his old buddy, "Barack."

Will the torture never stop?

Piers Morgan, Our Problem

Piers Bans Witch
As I was driving off well before first light to say Mass, my not so smart phone bleeped at me, so I compulsively fired up the email. There was a message from an English reader, taking me to task for suggesting that Piers Morgan be shipped back to the land from whence he came.

This was, he thought, uncharitable of me and possibly unchristian. Piers is our problem, here in the States, suggested the email.

On reflection, I see that my electronic friend was right. Old England has plenty of problems as it is without adding to the burden by sending Piers back. It would be unfair of us to launch the jowly, smug, limo-lib, most hated man in journalism popular media superstar back at Blighty.

We have to deal with the Morgan issue here. In the United States. I was wrong.

I apologise.

That is all.

Oh dear... Piers.

Described by some as a "Dark Lord" and "more hated than Skeletor", Piers Morgan isn't just facing dismal ratings at CNN, he's on the hot spot for his role in the the U.K.'s phone hacking scandal.

You can read all about this sordid tale of criminality, vice and gutter journalism over at Guido and, you never know, maybe Piers will have to leave America...

Please send him back for Christmas.

The nation holds its breath.

Cheers,

Choppers

It seems that Team LSP has been hard at work, sending in pictures of choppers. I think they hope I will buy one and roar about the countryside with all the other bikers.  It would be like Nam, Chelt'Nam that is, in the '70s, which I vaguely remember being fond of.

But I can't, looking after the live horse is enough for me and I need to save up for some kind of truck, the present Ranger being on loan - pref 4x4. Like a x-cab Z71 or F150 variant. Then there's always the Defender...

On a different theme, it's good to know that unlimited dollar liquidity is being offered to Europe's stuttering banks.

That's solved that nasty little solvency problem then. Entirely.

And another thing, why is Piers Morgan still in power?

Cheers,
