Go On - Attack Israel You Moslem Savages

Hamas Attacks Ravers

So. Six Jewish hostages were just found shot in the head by the IDF in a tunnel somewhere in Gaza. Now help me out. On October 7 Hamas paragliders (!) drifted down onto Israeli kibbutz raves and kidnapped all these young people, ravers. One minute you're listening to dance music, the next you're hog-tied to a dirt bike and driven into a tunnel in the Gaza Strip.

Like, wow. Imagine that happening in Texas. MS 13 paradrops into El Paso and carries off men, women and children to... tunnels underneath Jaurez. And they demand, give us El Paso and the border or we kill them. After all, it's Mexican territory, stolen by the gringo. What d'ye think we'd do, in such a case?

HAMAS shot this civilian in a tunnel, what utter scum

Wipe. Them. Out. Utterly. With extreme prejudice. Probably set up a buffer zone in Mexico to boot. That in mind, why should the Jews in Israel behave any different? They're in a war for their very survival, and if they don't prosecute that to the best of their ability, i.e. by killing Hamas and its supporters, then they're traitors to themselves.

OK, we get IDF logic, which I pretty much support, I have friends in that crew, but still we have to ask. Why did the IDF allow the Hamas outrage to occur in the first place and, again, why did they do it in the first place knowing that retribution would be on an unprecedented industrial scale?

Get Down On It Boys

Gaza Pier

oops

Do you remember the Gaza pier which the US built with your money to deliver humanitarian aid to genocidal jihad Hamas supporters? Sure you do, we all do, and now look at it, floundering and sinking on a beach. But hey, it only cost several hundred millions. I like the inimitable Armchair Warlord's analysis:

Do you know what's actually the most outrageous part of the whole Gaza pier operation?  In a week they'd only delivered a thousand tons of cargo with it!

That's equivalent to ONE load that ONE of the Army LSVs on site could have simply delivered over the beach.

During my previous career I found that on many occasions doing things the "hard way" was actually the easiest way to get something accomplished, because we weren't spinning our wheels and wasting time and effort trying to figure out some "easy" way to do it.  In this case simply delivering humanitarian aid over the beach via landing craft would have been far easier and far less complicated than building and delivering this Rube Goldberg-esque pier through the surf.  I suspect this option was in fact chosen because it could deliver cargo without American service members having to physically walk around on the beach, thus satisfying Biden's "no boots on the ground" directive via the threadbare technicality that the American boots are actually on a floating pier a hundred meters offshore.

And there you have it. What a waste of $320MN virtue-signalling cash. But hey, interest on the national debt's only about $1TN every hundred days, so what's a few million?

Cheers,

Serious Business

En lieu of anything remotely serious from me, here's the inimitable Armchair Warlord on last night's raid into the Strip:

Update: Israeli troops withdrew after some skirmishing.  It's unclear whether they ever actually entered Gaza proper or engaged from beyond the fence, or how well the respective sides came off.

The fundamental problem the IDF and the Israeli government in general faces right now is that to accomplish their stated goal of destroying Hamas, bombing, shelling and armored incursions into open areas of the Gaza Strip (which they had restricted themselves to in previous rounds of fighting) will not do the job.  At some point Israeli APCs are going to have to roll up to the first line of shattered concrete housing blocks, drop ramps and dismount infantry.  And those infantrymen are going to have to get behind their assault rifles and go to work.  Block by block, building by building, room by room, through an army of enemies and an ocean of civilians, until the job is done.

I think at this point Netanyahu has placed an order with the butcher for a bloodbath and now he doesn't want to pay the bill.

I won't comment but will repeat:

The Problem With Socialism

A friend of mine in England complained that the police force in their beautiful market town didn't really exist. So, if there was a crime it'd take about an hour or so to drive in from the nearest megacity. She was against firearms ownership, naturally, being a Brit.

I asked her, "So, some guy turns up at your castle with a baseball bat to rape you and kill your kids and you call the cops, right? Two hours later they turn up. Yet another reason for the 2nd Amendment."

Here's the thing, these people live in a dreamworld of unicorns, fairies and rainbow surgery, of unreality. Israel had a dose of that the other week and now the bombs are falling. Why, for a second, do you think the countries of the West are somehow exempt?

A Fiftieth Anniversary War?

Just as you're recovering from random space rock biker Czarist posts on this increasingly random mind blog, here's some serious thought from Victor Davis Hanson, via LL:

A 50th Anniversary War?

Why did Hamas stage a long-planned, carefully executed and multifaceted attack on Israeli towns, soldiers, and civilians—one designed to instill terror by executing noncombatants, taking hostages, and desecrating the bodies of the dead?

And how were the killers able to enter Israeli proper in enough numbers to kill what could be hundreds and perhaps eventually wound what could be thousands?

a) Ostensibly, radical Palestinians wanted to stop any rumored rapprochement between the Gulf monarchies—the traditional source of much of their cash—and Israel, by forcing the issue of Arab solidarity in times of “war”, especially through waging a gruesome attack aimed at civilians and encompassing executions and hostage taking. Iran likely was the driving force to prompt the war—given its greatest fear is a Sunni Arab-Israeli rapprochement.

b) Arab forces have had only success against Israel through surprise attacks during Israeli holidays, as in the Yom Kippur War (i.e., was it any accident that the present attack began 50-years almost to the day after the October 6, 1973 beginning of the Yom Kippur War?). And so they struck again this Saturday during Simchat Torah, coming at the end of a weeklong Jewish celebration of Sukkot—in hopes that others will join in as happened in 1973. (So much for the Arab warnings not for Westerners to conduct war during Ramadan).

c) Hamas may have reckoned that recent Israeli turmoil and mass leftist street protests over proposed reforms of the Israeli Supreme Court had led to permanent internal divisions and thus a climate of domestic distraction if not an erosion of deterrence.

But, more importantly, in a larger sense the Biden administration has contributed both to the notion that Hamas was a legitimate Middle East player, and to the perception that the U.S. was backing away from its traditional support for Israel—to the delight of Hamas—based on the following inexplicable policies:

1) In February Secretary of State Blinken had bragged that not only had the Biden administration resumed massive aid to the PLA cancelled by Trump, but cumulatively had transferred $1 billion—even as Palestinian authorities bragged that they would continue to pay bounties to the families of “martyrs” (i.e., those killed while conducting terrorists attacks against Israel).

And millions of American dollars also went into Gaza, run by Hamas—despite the Biden administration’s efforts to keep mostly quiet the resumption of such inexplicable support. In this regard, note the current shameful State-Department (“U.S. Office of Palestinian Affairs”) website news release that was posted after today’s attack. It ended with this quite embarrassing, morally equivalent admonition:

“We urged all sides to refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing.”

“All sides?” “Refrain from retaliatory attacks?”

So Israel is the moral equivalent of terrorists executing civilians and brutalizing their corpses? And the IDF then is not supposed to retaliate against these killers?

This Biden State Department insanity cannot stand. So expect some apparatchik to take down this Munich-like posting as soon as possible.

2) The Biden administration had recently released some $6 billion to Iran through a prison swap deal that saw South Korea hand over embargoed Iranian money to Qatar—despite Tehran’s increased anti-Israeli rhetoric and its loud brag about the escalation. We should assume money for rockets (Hamas claims they have launched 5,000, and have received 100,000 of them via the Damascus airport) and weapons in general for Hamas were supplied by Iran, which again is likely the chief catalyst for this surprise attack.

3) Almost immediately, after his inauguration Biden mobilized to resume the bankrupt Iran deal. And in unhinged fashion he appointed the anti-Israeli bigot, pro-Iranian journalist Robert Malley as America’s chief negotiator. Note that Malley is now under FBI investigation for security breaches, involving disclosing classified U.S. documents and also for allegedly helping pro-Iranian activists and propagandists land influential billets inside the U.S. government.

In short, there was a general Hamas and Iranian perception that the Biden administration had resumed the discredited Obama madness of empowering Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas.

This discredited agenda was to “balance” the power of Israel and the moderate Arab Gulf governments to achieve “creative tension”, exacerbated by Biden’s loathing of the government of Benjamín Netanyahu (who has been snubbed by Biden and never invited for an official visit).

Note as well that the Biden administration has siphoned off key weapons and munitions from stockpiles inside Israel to transfer them to Ukraine.

The so-called “War Reserve Ammunition—Israel” is all but depleted of just the sorts of weapons needed in the present crisis.

In this regard is there not a pattern here?

Upon the ascension of Biden and his woke military agendas, we saw the following: the complete humiliation of the U.S. in Kabul in its most shameful flight in 50 years and greatest abandonment of equipment in its history; followed by Vladimir Putin’s opportunistic invasion of Ukraine; followed by China’s new belligerence and escalating threats to Taiwan; followed by Turkey’s new de facto alliance with Russia and recent drone encounter with the U.S. air force in Syria; followed by the Hamas/Iranian inspired attack on Israel—with more to come unfortunately.

And will Biden finally get the message from the attacks on the Ukraine and Israeli borders, that borders matter and we too are being invaded, with the encouragement of the Mexican government and to the advantage of the cartels whose fentanyl exports kills 100,000 Americans a year?

What to expect in Israel?

Expect the following: the usual Hamas/terrorist selling and/or execution of Israeli hostages, the use of Israeli hostages as “human shields” in Gaza, the bargaining/sale of the remains of Israeli dead, occasional killings of Jews inside Israel by Arabs who falsely believe there will be a winning Middle East-wide existential war against Israel. And finally, a devastating Israeli counter-response that will eventually earn a U.S. rebuke.

What should the U.S. instead do?

It should quit talking to Iran and restore full sanctions against it. It should cut off all aid immediately to all the Palestinians.

It should undertake a 1973-like massive arms lift of key munitions to Israel and warn Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and others in the Middle East not to intervene or else, given that Israel will need several weeks to deal with Hamas and Gaza.

And if it shows any hesitation or weakness, other terrorist groups will opportunistically jump in.

I feel the beast is slouching towards Nazareth, make that driving full speed, and I pray I'm wrong. Just think, a week ago we were debating the mores of trans bathrooms.

This Is Insane - Hamas Kills Ravers

Red Dawn Crazy

I'm sorry but this doesn't seem to get any better. 100s of kids were at a rave in southern Israel on Saturday near Kibbutz Urim, a "Peace Party" no less, when Hamas terrorists paraglided in and opened fire, killing 260 people and kidnapping others. I won't post photos of the bodies, you can find them online.

I visited that kibbutz years ago and spent several very pleasant days there getting to know some of the people who founded the place, they'd survived the Holocaust. Now this. I pray everyone there's now safe and armed to the teeth, though I doubt the latter. Hopefully the IDF makes up for any deficiency.

get out of there, kids

In the meanwhile, a US carrier group's headed into the Mediterranean. Let's hope we don't see USS Liberty played out on a grand scale. Speaking of which, where is Mossad in all of this? Serious question, the world famous intel agency didn't see any of this coming?

Situation developing. War and rumors of war.

Buckle Up,

War

Wow, you no sooner delete a random reminiscence post about dodgy nightlife in central London in the mid '90s than yet another war breaks out, this time in Israel.

Cause and effect? Delete Groucho's, the Atlantic Bar and Grill, Cafe Boheme and Blacks and get what, a war? Apparently, and you can read all about it here.

It seems as though Hamas raiders caught the IDF napping just at the time they're low on ammunition because of sending all those 155s to Zelensky. But that's as maybe, in the wake of an IDF base being overrun, an IDF General captured and Hamas terrorists roaming seemingly at will through Israeli cities, Bibi's declared a state of war and has vowed, "The enemy will pay an unprecedented price."

They doubtless will and you'll notice none of this, the war in Ukraine, escalation in Armenia, Syria, African coups and now war in Israel happened on 45s watch, yet we were assured that this was precisely the geopolitical chaos unhinged Nazi Trump would lead us to.

Projection? I'd argue yes and urge your prayers for the people of the Holy Land.

Women's March Sharia Goons

If you fear highhandedness from your wives, remind them [of the teaching of God], then ignore them when you go to bed, then hit them. If they obey you, you have no right to act against them. God is most high and great. (Koran Sura 4.34)

The feminists who marched through DC and elsewhere don't like President Trump, they think he oppresses women. They also think that Islamic Sharia law is a pretty good thing, at least they do in DC, where the protest march was organized by Linda Sarsour, a pro-Hamas Sharia advocate.

Some  Sharia Clown

Among other things, like clothing regulations, lesser legal status, monogamy for women, polygamy for men, Sharia allows men to beat their wives. Apparently the feminists are down with that.

A Couple of Sharia Goons

Because this is a family blog, I won't describe the marchers' distinctive pink headgear in terms of the part of the female anatomy it represents. But I will say this.
Girls, if the hat fits, wear it.

If The Hat Fits

Rumors that Islamic symbols have been removed from the White House may or may not be true.

That is all.

Dallas Peace Temple Funds Terror Shocka

The Dallas Central Peace Temple, in Richardson, has been named an "unindicted co-conspirator" in America's largest ever terrorism financing trial.

Via Breitbart -- "A north Texas mosque, near the home of “Clock Boy” Ahmed, was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing trial in United States history. The judge found there was ample evidence that the mosque, the Islamic Association of North Texas, assisted the Holy Land Foundation in funding millions of dollars to a Palestinian military terrorist organization [Hamas] that has killed Israeli children."

A mosque? Funding terrorists? What can we say.

Shocka.

Bishop Michael Curry, You Are A Dhimwit

Michael Curry is the new Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. He was enthroned on November 1st, at Washington National Cathedral, to the sound of drumming and dancing. And a Muslim prayer, led by Mohamed Elsanousi, the Islamic Society of North America's (ISNA) Director of Community Outreach.

Demented

ISNA was an Unindicted Co-Conspirator in a terrorism financing trial successfully prosecuted in 2008 (US v Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development), and was shown to have supported the terrorist organization, Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine.

Crazed

The Muslim Brotherhood brutally persecuted Christians in Egypt while in power and though repressed by that country's secular government, continues to persecute them today.

Goofy

Asking an ISNA representative, a group with close ties to Christian-killing Jihadists, to lead Christians in prayer in a purportedly Christian cathedral, is a curious choice indeed. Not dissimilar to asking Stille Hilfe's PR, or a Holocaust denier to speak at a synagogue.

Dhimwit

But Curry probably isn't aware of ISNA's ties to murdering Jihadi savages, he probably thinks Islam is a religion of peace and was simply trying to spread the love.

Michael Curry, you are a Dhimwit.
