It sounds like a... like a... game call. You'll note, too, how much more civilized in speech and demeanor we were before progress, aka Marxism, took its toll. The same thing, absent game call, holds true for Great Britain, see Elizabeth II who spoke as she should. I won't go on, but what a video, well done those men.
On topic, a visitor turned up at one of the Missions today, with Deo Vindice emblazoned on the back of his rig. He felt warmly welcomed, you may be assured of that.

In the 70s, the CSA was very popular everywhere. I had a buddy, (a Jew from NJ) who had a rebel flag logo on his bank checks. Every bank offered this in those days. I read about a retailer in Long Island NY selling out of flags (and cowboy hats) ahead of a Skynyrd concert in Nassau County. Seems to have gone out of style now for some reason. However, here in central Maryland, there's a home a couple miles down the road that still flies either the First National or the Battle Flag every day.

I remember those days, kind of, Anon. Maryland's a weird state. Me? I don't like it, even if half its graves are counted for the Cause. Annapolis? Wandered through there a few decades ago and had a pint in a "tavern." We left and lo and behold reenactors. My Mother pointed and said, "Look, kids, crazy people." So.

Me embracing anything Civil War rebel would be disgracing maternal ancestors who were part of the Iron Brigade from Wisconsin and, from the paternal side, members of the First Colorado Infantry Regiment who fought at Glorieta Pass in March 1862. My only strong conviction was the war was fought by poor people on behalf of rich people. Isn't that true of most wars?
