Babylon's Burning

You might remember Patrisse Cullors, co-founder of the BLM movement which went into paroxysms of hyperventilating rage when signature hoodlum George Floyd died of an overdose while under arrest. Chauvin's restraint hold aside, cash flowed into BLM's coffers like the mighty Brazos undammed, to the tune of millions, 90MN$ in 2020 alone.

Self-proclaimed Marxist Patrisse didn't go short either, and went on a mansion buying binge at the height of BLM's PR moment in the sun, snagging up 3 ritzy homes in LA alone. To be sure, none of these millionaire socialist palaces were bought with BLM cash direct, but maybe Warner Bros. et al had a part to play.

Whatever, you might be asking, "How did the millions of virtue signaling Marxist dollars given to BLM benefit black people in the US?" You know, like at all. Scratch your head all you like and see if you can come up with an answer. In the meanwhile, Patrisse's burgeoning LA real estate empire has reportedly come to a fiery end, with, reportedly, 2 of her 3 palatial Bolshevik palaces burned to the ground.

Rumors that Cullors practices and advocates African witchcraft are entirely that, rumors, and doubtless vicious to boot. She/her resigned from BLM leadership in 2022 after financial scrutiny.

Babylon's Burning, and if so, will insurance cover the bill?

Fire Away,

LSP

It is sad what is happening, though I keep reminding myself that God is in control and God will NOT be mocked. The rich and famous get all the attention and can no doubt afford to rebuild. The people like you and me get little attention, unless they were near Mike Rowe while he was filming there.

They will likely not be able to rebuild because the insurance companies will NOT be able to cover the cost of this, I am certain.

I don't know if it's true or not, but someone said FEMA has offered the survivors $750. The same as those who survived 2 hurricanes, many of whom are still living in tents in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee.
I guess we will see.
And we will continue to pray for God's mercy, repent of California's sins, and His protection and blessing for the survivors, firemen, responders and volunteers.

You all be safe and God bless.

Lots of whinging by leftist about how MAGAites are not coming to their rescue. Of course, these are the same leftists who positively crowed about the hurricanes hitting Florida and North Carolina hard, who crowed when Texas got hit by that ice storm a few years back.

But now that they need help, they're basically screaming "Where's the Cajun Navy now? Waaaaahhhh..."

For some reason, it's like Sodom and Gomorrah all over again. And we're all on the way outside looking at Lot wander around with his salt lick. And shaking our heads and saying, "Welp, it's the Rule of Toyota. You asked (voted) for it, you got it, Toyota."

Horrible. But where are the pumps pumping sea water? Oh, that's not allowed. Where's the fresh water reservoirs? Oh, that's not allowed. Where's the firefighting equipment? Oh, that's not allowed.

Where's the concern over the voters who allowed this mess every friggin year, as it's not unknown that California tends to catch on fire every friggin year? Oh, that's... below my level of caring.

My people (conservatives, people who can think their way out of a wet paper bag) have been vilified by these people. We've been SWATed, cancelled, fired, arrested, stared at, made fun of, othered, been told to sit in the corner, been told to go away as we're too darned stupid, been told that we're too white, too racist, too heterosexual, too unedumacated, too in love with the Constitution, too in love with religion, too in love with self-defense implements as protected by the 2nd Amendment for far too long.

Meh. My caring has been worn out.
