That Great Leviathan

Drove off into a storm with my Wittgensteinian friend GWB, an all 'round sportsman, to go fishing.

Got through the storm to the lake,

and caught some fish.

And for me, that was an excellent result. Must go fishing far more often.

God bless,

LSP

Crummy weather here in Colorado. Can't wait to go fishing...

That's a mean looking storm, beautiful lake and nice bass

Hope things improve in Colorado, Silverfiddle and DeanO, thanks for the comment. The storm reached our lake in the end and brought an end to things despite my protestation, "But GWB, everyone knows that the middle of a lake is the safest place to be in a lightening storm!" He wisely ignored my advice...

I can't even catch a boot. But I hear some of those farm ponds have amazing fish and you can't go wrong. Maybe if I ever visit my cousins in Kansas...

Good catch!
Isn't fishing a busman's holiday LSP: what with your day job and all?

Good point NN - I must take some time off!

Cheers.

Bluesun - you must visit the well stocked fish ponds of Kansas. I rarely fish - something that has to change - but always enjoy it when I do. It does help when you catch something...

Wonderful that you got to spend some time fishing LSP. Did you light up a campfire and cook your fish over the open fire? I think that it's the ashes which float back into the pan that make them taste so delicious done up this way, no other explanation comes to mind right about now.

A campfire would have been great but it was just 'catch and release' - good fun though.
