Do you remember those annoying COEXIST bumper stickers? Sure you do, along with their vapid dropped-on-head-as-infant assumption, if only we could all agree to get along then there'd be world peace. Behold 2000 years of Western thought devolve to the level of a Miss World contest. And the problem with this is that it's utterly wrong. 

There are, unfortunately, bad actors running around; Jihad head-chopping third world savages can't coexist with civilized people. Kali worshipping Thugs can't coexist with people who believe murder sacrifice to a demon is a bad thing. Suttee widow burning can't ride alongside Christian people who value life, and neither can a Moloch worshipping culture of death.

You get the point, COEXIST has great rainbow pony potential and's guaranteed popular with every 16 year old girl or Bristol U undergrad, but it's rubbish. All religions, cultures and people aren't the same, they're often diametrically opposed. So when you throw them together what happens?

Belfast wakes up to an eye-gouging beheader Sudanese savage. Austin Metcalf gets stabbed in the heart at a sports event in Dallas. 13% of our US population commits what, 50 or 60% of violent crime, maybe more. Lee Rigby, remember him?, gets beheaded/macheted in greater London and on.

Point being, diversity is not our strength, unity is, unity around what's good, right and true. COEXIST doesn't give us that, but the Faith which built Europe and it's colonies, the Anglosphere, does. The West has effectively rejected that since at least 1945 and look where it's got us. Nowhere good and it'll surely get worse. Time to correct that.

Let's Send Help To Ireland

 

Leftists have to be confused. On the one hand, their sacred cow Irish resistance fighters are activating and burning stuff down, and on the other, the target's another sacred rainbow cow, people of color (POC). Tricky, isn't it, and perhaps you see the dilemma. (Are you absolutely sure about this? Ed.) As in, "Here's all these people we support attacking all these people we support." Pan to short circuiting Frankfort School brain pans.

So what to do? Deploy water canon etc to wash the revolting people off the streets of Belfast, all the while telling the world that "violence isn't the answer." But how can it not be when elected rulers ignore the will of the people, it's not as though the ballot box has done them any favors.

To put it bluntly. No one voted for hordes of head chopping welfare immigrants to flood our towns and cities, quite the opposite in the UK, see BREXIT, yet here we are. And here they are, trying to chop peoples' heads off. No wonder, then, that the natives are revolting, what other choice do they have? Voting doesn't work, clearly.

So what does. Force, and I'll wager the monkey that the UK doesn't have the budget for that. Here in the US? You'll note we shut the border down  in short order. Put an end to the imported vote spigot, and quite right too. UK rulers aren't about to do that, at least not yet, they understand their old constituency, white and working class, hates them. So replace them. 

Thus runs the logic 'til you've got a full-scale insurrection on your hands and no army to back you up. And let's face facts, the UK doesn't have a meaningful military force at present, and would even the few that remain kill their friends and relatives in defense of the risible rallying cry "diversity is our strength"? No, of course not, who would.

Forgive the ramble, but let's see how things turn out in Ireland. I call canary in coal mine.

Belfast Burning

It's been busy in the diversity-is-our-strength UK. First we learn that Henry Nowak was stabbed by Vikrum Digwa only to be arrested and cuffed by cops because racism. Nowak died on the scene saying, "I can't breathe." Executed, if you like, by DEI, how very progressive, and now this. An imported Sudanese savage tried to cut a man's head off in Belfast yesterday. Good thing he was beaten off by a guy with a hurling stick. Result?

Big kick off in Belfast tonight, cars torched, police attacked, migrant properties attacked and burned, Protestant and Catholic areas coming together against a problem the government hasn't dealt with, that it's encouraged. Viz. Import hundreds if not millions of savage votes. Hey, big win for landlords, employers and vote farmers. Big loss for anyone who doesn't want a Sub-Saharan trying to chop his head off.

Today Belfast, tomorrow the rest of the West? Let's see, maybe Belfast and Ireland's the canary in the proverbial coal mine. And, after all, there's precedent in that troubled land for violent insurrection, as some of you know personally. So what do I think, in case you're desperately interested, all two of you.

I think it's an utter tragedy. Imagine being some kind of head chopping SnackBar lured into the UK with the Danegeld promise of free everything and then setting up a family vape shop only to get firebombed out of existence by locals who aren't so keen on their Moslem replacement. Tragedy for that family, eh? And tragedy for the communities messed up by the head-choppers. Net result? Extreme violence, and that too is a tragedy.

So good work Leftists. Everything you intend or enact produces the exact opposite of its intended result, it's like an axiom. Let's put it bluntly, import the Third World, get the Third World. See how that works out for you, buddy.

A Short Sunday Sermon

 

Christ calls Matthew from the "receipt of custom," his tax collecting office, and Matthew follows. Of course the Pharisees aren't pleased, and who can blame them? Tax collectors were especially bad then, even more than now, with private corporations bidding the Roman State to tax a province. The highest bidder won the contract, obviously, paid the State an upfront value assessment and went on to collect the profit, as in anything above the base value they'd paid Rome.

Lucrative business, and it grew ever larger as Rome's conquests waxed large. The Publicani, tax farmers, grew so rapacious that several provinces rose up in revolt. By the time of Christ some of the worst excess may have been curbed, but still, these were bad people as were their enforcers on the ground, people like Zacheus and Matthew. No wonder the Pharisees weren't too keen that Jesus should hang out with these bad actors, and they were bad.

So they ask the disciples, "Why does your Master eat with tax collectors and sinner?" Guilt through association, eh? Not unlike, if you can imagine, a church council after the War of Northern Aggression taking a dim view of their Pastor having lunch with carpet baggers. Shudder the thought.

OK, we get that, but Christ wasn't condoning Matthew's sin or anyone else's, he was extending the hand of divine mercy, love and compassion to the utterly wicked in the hope that he might save them for life. A beautiful thing and the the Pharisees should have been in the same business, but they weren't, they were too full of self-regarding conceit and judgemental moralism. In old Brit Club vocab they'd have been classed as insufferable snobs. But that's as maybe.

Christ see's into their whitewashed, sepulchral hearts and cuts to the chase, quoting Hosea, "Learn what this means. I desire mercy not sacrifice." They must have gnashed their teeth, "How dare a 'Holy Man' who eats with total sinners tell us what to do." A fateful choice which threw them out of the orbit of God's mercy.

Message? Don't be like the Pharisee. Look, it even rhymes, so we can remember it. That said, take heart, if Christ can call an evil man like Matthew he can and does call us too. Follow.

D Day - Mad Jack Churchill

 

As we celebrate D Day and the Allied invasion of Nazi Europe, think on Lt. Col. Mad Jack Churchill. Though born in Hong Kong of an old Oxfordshire family, Mad Jack fell in love with bagpipes, longbows and swords, not least the Claymore.

After a colorful career as a soldier, Mad Jack found himself in the Royal Marines, where he played his part in the Normandy landings:

D-Day, June 6th, 1944. Jack was assigned to 47th Royal Marines. Where he landed on Gold Beach, as soon as the landing craft he was on was taking fire, he stepped off the craft slowly with his bow an arrow, along with his broadsword. Eventually making it to the beachhead, where he decided to sheathe his weapons and take out the bagpipes he was playing.  As the soldiers around him dropped to the ground as fast as they could from the incoming MG42 fire, they witnessed Jack get to a certain position and stop marching forward. He stood still as he kept playing. Not even once thinking about how any moment a bullet could kill him, or an artillery shell. He only focused on his music and inspiring his men, and not a single bullet came near him.

After the battle of Gold Beach, when German POWs were captured, they were asked why none of the Germans shot at him. They all agreed that, “If a crazy bastard was going to play music here, he deserved to live.”

 

Yes, they were heroes

Mad Jack was, apparently, the last person up until now to be credited with killing an enemy combatant with a long bow. Think on that.

Right In The X Ring

 

JDV sent it right into the X Ring. Take note:

Henry Nowak died the same way a civilization dies: abandoned, handcuffed by authorities who neither trusted nor cared for him, and accused of hate crimes he did not commit. His murder is as tragic as it is enraging. He should still be alive today, and he would be if the last few generations of European elites had stood their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it. 

Henry was far from the first to so needlessly lose his life, and I fear he won’t be the last. Each time a life like his is lost, the proper response—the only response—is righteous anger. One of the most important things the Trump administration has proven to the world is that stopping the flow of mass migration and defending national sovereignty is a matter of political will and leadership. Anything else is an excuse. 

It is because we love the West that we want to preserve it. We love our civilization. We love our country. We love our children. And nobody—nobody—should ever die the way that Henry Nowak died. May God comfort those who loved him, and may God rest his soul.

Wow. People tell me Downing Street isn't too happy about the above. Good.

This is Outrageous

 

Bend the knee? Well no, not if the victim's white and the killer isn't. If that's the case, Southampton PD turn up for a 911 call, handcuff the victim who's bleeding out, search his phone for racism, and he dies saying, "I can't breathe." 

A bit like George Floyd when you think on it, except that Floyd died of a Fentanyl overdose after passing counterfeit $20 bills and Henry Nowak was guilty of being inexcusably white. He told the arresting rainbow diversity police that he'd been stabbed, and one replied, "I don't think you have mate." Then he died.

Floyd's death, sorry to remind you, became a Leftist PR blitz, with Democrat politicians genuflecting in DC wearing absurd Kunta Kinte scarves, Keir Starmer genuflecting in London, FBI agents "bending the knee," and on. 

Remember that? A veritable gushing flood of virtue-signaling sympathy for a black villain who got into it one last time on the old Fentanyl. Do you remember the veritable state funeral that thug got? Gold coffin and all the rest as the US Left tried to reignite the fire of their defining civil rights moment.

Not so much for Henry Novak, who's dead because DEI cops didn't like the narrative. They deserve to be fired and imprisoned for killing a young man because of rainbow racism. As it is, Vikrum Digwa has been sentenced to life imprisonment, he stabbed Nowak 5 times. People are understandably outraged and protests are ongoing in Southampton.

Will there come a point when the majority demographic of the UK say enough is enough? I reckon there will, and mark my words, it'll be messy if they do.

Just War

 

Here we are, embroiled in yet another war and what a warlike few decades it's been. That in mind, you'd expect the Church to have something to say about this and it does, that there is such a thing as a just war and you'd better take note unless you want to go to Hell. OK, what are the conditions for a just war? Here, via the Information Superhighway:

1. Jus ad Bellum (Right to Go to War)

These criteria must all be met before engaging in armed conflict: [1]

• Just Cause: The war must confront a real, grave, and certain danger, such as defending against an unprovoked attack or protecting innocent life. [1, 2]
• Legitimate Authority: Force must only be declared by a properly constituted, recognized government or sovereign state. [1, 2]
• Right Intention: The primary objective must be to redress the injury or establish peace, rather than seeking territorial expansion or revenge. [1, 2]
• Last Resort: All diplomatic, peaceful, and non-violent alternatives must be completely exhausted before initiating hostilities. [1, 2]
• Probability of Success: There must be a reasonable expectation of victory; launching into a hopeless cause or slaughter is considered morally unjustifiable. [1, 2]
• Proportionality: The overall destruction and casualties expected from thbye war must not outweigh the good the military action aims to achieve. [1, 2]

2. Jus in Bello (Right Conduct in War)

These rules dictate ethical behavior on the battlefield, regardless of how just the initial cause was: [1, 2]

• Discrimination / Non-combatant Immunity: Military forces must strictly distinguish between combatants and non-combatants. Innocent civilians, medics, and prisoners of war must never be the deliberate target of an attack. [1, 2]
• Proportionality: Combatants must use the minimum amount of force necessary to achieve a legitimate military objective. The damage inflicted must not be excessive or disproportionate to the strategic gain. [1, 2]

3. Jus post Bellum (Justice After War)

While historically secondary, many modern ethicists include a third set of criteria to govern the conclusion of a conflict. It emphasizes: [1, 2]

• Peace Settlements: Peace treaties should not be overly vindictive and must respect human rights and the sovereignty of the defeated nation. [1, 2, 3]
• Reconstruction: Victorious states have an obligation to assist in rebuilding infrastructure and establishing a sustainable, just society. [1]

There it is, like it or not, just war in outline as taught by the Church for around 700 years. Until now. Pope Leo XIV has told the world in his encyclical Magnifica Humanitas that, "Without prejudice to the right to self-defense in the strictest sense, it is important to reaffirm that the 'just war' theory, which has all too often been used to justify any kind of war, is now outdated." What, there's no such thing as a just war? That it isn't right to confront a grave and certain danger by force of arms? Apparently yes, because Jesus was all about peace. Here's the NCR:

That does not mean the questions raised by the tradition were foolish. They were not. At its best, just war teaching sought to restrain violence. It asked whether a war had a just cause, whether legitimate authority had declared it, whether it was truly a last resort, whether civilians would be protected, whether the harm inflicted would be proportionate to the good sought and whether there was a reasonable hope of success.

 

Well done NCR, salute the tradition and then? Gut it, because drones and tech and such:

Those questions were meant to limit state power, expose aggression and prevent the easy sanctification of violence. But a framework developed in earlier centuries can no longer carry the full moral weight of the Gospel in an age of drones, cyberwarfare, artificial intelligence, autonomous weapons, nuclear arsenals, permanent war economies and civilian populations treated as the battlefield itself.

The wars known to Augustine and Aquinas bear little resemblance to the wars of the 21st century. The battlefield is no longer confined. Hospitals, schools, apartment buildings, power grids, water systems, food supplies and communication networks are routinely drawn into the logic of war. Civilian life is no longer collateral to war. Increasingly, civilian life is the terrain of war.

 

Nope, Augustine and Aquinas didn't really think in terms of "civilian life is the terrain of war" said no one at the end of the siege of Jerusalem ever. What an incredibly, mind-numbingly fatuous thing to write. As if a city overtaken by war in late antiquity or the Middle Ages, with its people slaughtered or enslaved by their conqueror, weren't in the terrain or landscape of war. Think, if you like, of the Moslem slaughter at Otranto or Constantinople. Lord have mercy, Kyrie Eleison, it's exactly that kind of thing Just War theory was advanced to at least mitigate or temper. Relevant now as it ever was, but no, there's a deeper reason for it being out of date. According to the NCR, Jesus was a Woodstock Hippy Pacifist:

Jesus did not give his followers a theory of justified violence. He gave them a way of life. He told them to love their enemies, pray for their persecutors, turn the other cheek and put away the sword. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, welcomed the excluded, confronted hypocrisy, crossed boundaries of purity and tribe, forgave sinners and stood before imperial power without returning violence for violence.

This was not passivity. It was active, public, disciplined resistance. Jesus resisted evil without imitating it. He exposed domination without becoming domineering. He defended the dignity of the vulnerable without dehumanizing those who threatened him. He did not die because he was harmless. He died because the nonviolent reign of God he embodied threatened systems built on fear, exclusion and force.

 

There you have it, Jesus was Gandhi, an active, public, disciplined, non-violent resistance to evil colonial oppression. On the contrary, he brought a sword and you'll note, keen-eyed Biblicists, that he never once told a Roman soldier to lay down his weapon. Not once. In fact, Roman soldiers, along with women, count most amongst the most favored wider circle of his friends in the Gospel account.

So stop with this, Leo. War is a tragedy and we hate it, but don't pretend that Jesus was a Hindoo Hippy and that there's no such thing as the Church Militant here on earth, whose members will justifiably defend their homes and families against an evil secularist aggressor and its Moslem ally of convenience.
