Monday Regroup

After various chores, which included a trip to heavily tattooed Walmart, I picked up an handheld computing device and dialed LL:

Leftist Malfeasance

"I say, Colonel, are you ready for the Burning Man muster?" He held back, non-plussed, "I don't want to hang with dirty hippies, even if they are rich." I thought about this and replied, "But you do understand we shall be charging them, as in cavalry charge, starting off at one end of the Playa and ending at another. Command leading, I trust you're part of our forward echelon?"

Apologies to Congo Compton

I needn't have asked, "Of course I'm in, but we need a dog pack to harry the hippies." A "dog pack"? What did this mean, war dogs?!? Yes, a solid 10,000 dogs, brigade strength, unleashed on rich, Bay Area rainbow hippies after drone swarms have done their worst. Picture the snarling fury.

Imagine, drones attack, dogs attack, a ferocious brigade of them, then Cav sweeps in and destroys an enemy in disarray. "Are you part of this, Horse Sarn't Major?" Affirmative. In fairness, it was an easy bet, not that I'm a betting man, go on and visit the monkey, eh?

Know You're Enemy

See you all at the muster,

PS. Provide your own mounts.

Omdurman

Didn't Churchill charge in that action? More, please. And in the meanwhile, stop the Jihad. Unless of course you think it's a religion of peace.

Good work, globalist deep state Bush for coining that jaw droppingly agitprop lie.

Swords In Texas!

For well over a century Texas has labored under the harsh strictures of the hated Reconstruction Government, which banned citizens from defending themselves, negating their freedom. But at last tyranny is being dismantled.

This Friday, Texans will be allowed to openly carry swords and not only swords, but also daggers, dirks, throwing knives, stilettos, poniards, machetes and spears.

So as of the end of this week, if you want to stroll over to the Tractor Supply Company, Karen's Authentic Mexican Food, the nearest feed store, Walmart or just down the road to the local Pick 'n Steal with your cavalry saber strapped to your hip, go right ahead.

Here at the Compound we applaud this latest step forward on the path to ever greater liberty and are sensibly getting down to business, sharpening sabers and perfecting the drill.

We believe that an armed society is a polite society, except at the charge in which case it's devil take the hindmost and ride like fury.

Cavalry & Guards

After a bizarrely early Mass this morning my thoughts mysteriously focused on London's clubs, and not the earsplittingly loud pounding techno variety either. No, real clubs, like the Cavalry & Guards in Piccadilly.

Cavalry & Guards -- note picture on stairwell

I remember climbing up the impressive stairwell of the "C&G"with a senior member who had kindly invited me over for lunch. I noticed the picture of a cavalry charge, Scotland Forever!, I think, and remarked to my friend, "That must've taken some courage."

Death or Glory

He looked me in the eye and said, "I trained for that on the South Downs in the 1930s. Perfectly useless against tanks, you know."

I supposed it was. Earlier I'd suggested that we go to the bar, only to be turned down with "let's not, they do bellow so in there."

Omdurman

The last massed boot-to-boot British cavalry charge was at Omdurman, in 1898, when we destroyed an army of fanatical Jihadists and killed their chieftain. Winston Churchill was part of that charge.

I miss clubland.
