Everyone knows it's time to invade Canada and set the people of the land of the ice and snow free from rainbow tyranny. Sure, we get it, but how? Big Serge lays out a possible scenario, with US forces moving swiftly to isolate the Toronto/Montreal urban corridor from Canadian reinforcements. Here, check out his projection:
When Trump invades Canada, the key will be rapid advances in the opening 48 hours to take advantage of Canada's odd force disposition.
The country's political and economic center of gravity is the urban corridor from Toronto to Montreal, but a significant share of the Canadian Army is dispersed, with large garrisons in Quebec, Halifax, and the western provinces. Only handful of brigades are garrisoned in the critical theater.
The war will be won quickly and decisively, without massive destruction of Canadian cities, if American forces can establish blocking positions to isolate the urban corridor from peripheral Canadian garrisons. In this maneuver scheme, we utilize highly mobile elements including 1st Cavalry Division and airborne forces to block the highways into Toronto, while an eastern screening group isolates the urban centers from reinforcements scrambling in from Quebec.
We envision inserting HIMARS at operational depths via Chinook slings, saturating Canadian road traffic with rocketry. A mobile firebase ("Firebase Maple") will be established north of Toronto near Lake Simcoe that will have a dominant position over the city's northern approach.
With reinforcements unable to scramble into the critical theater and Toronto severed from the cities in the eastern corridor, the Canadian 31st and 32nd Brigade Groups will be isolated and destroyed. Unconditional surrender is anticipated within 14 days.
A quick and decisive 14 day war. But what about the West Coast and Alberta? That's easy, we roll out of Montana, perhaps with I Corps and associates, join with Albertan friendly forces and swing West to block any nonsense from BC while Battlegroup East does it's work.

Lots of humor floating around about invading Canada. I don't find it humors. Much like France at the start of WWII we fail to separate the leadership from the boots on the ground. Their boots on the ground will not go out easily. We should heed the example of Putin and the Ukraine.

I dunno...given the condition that our military's in these days, I can't bear the thought of surrendering to Justin Trudeau and having to cede Alaska and New England as war indemnity.

Is everyone nuts? There is nothing even slightly sane about an invasion of Canada. They’re our closest allies, best friends and brothers and sisters. Do we really want another “Brother War” like WW2? We all arrived in North America from the same stock, now we have an arbitrary line on a map between countries, but they are us, and we are them.

We don’t want large parts of metropolitan Toronto-land. Trust me. Mississauga and Scarborough (plus others) are the sub-continent these days. Markham is some province of China. (Though unlike traditional Chinatowns, actually clean and orderly. Did I mention I hate Chinatowns?) I was actually supposed to be in Toronto now, but three consecutive nights of under 3h sleep each (too much travel) wore me out, so I stayed home.
Anyway, I’d thought it was just the big cities in (mor)Ontario, but medium towns are stuffed with “New Canadians” too. I think it was Stratford that had tonnes of Iranians (for some damn reason). The Canada I remember from my childhood is gone. Demography is destiny, and Canada is well and truly screwed.
In my AO of eastern Massholia, I’m running into a surprising number of francophone negroes. Clearly not American born. The irony is that they’re by and large quieter and better behaved than the native stock, but the next generation will catch up in volume and entitlement, you betcha.
Mike, you are correct, I think, on all counts. It would have to be a carve-out, or horse trade who we want to peacefully, willingly merge with us. SW BC goes to the left halves of Washington, Oregon-and California. Minnesotastan joins the south half of Ontario and Quebec to form their own Stan. The rest of the Canada of our youth joins us for a true powerhouse nation.
But does the US military have enough battle ready trannies to defeat the Canucks?
That, to me, makes the most sense. After all, "54-40 or Fight" kinda fizzled the last time we tried it. So, line the border with "X" style high-powered radio stations (see ZZ Top's "I Heard It On the X" for cultural reference) blaring propaganda 24/7 and get Fox news and Rogan and others on board with same and see what happens. Accept the various conservative provinces as states if they pass constitutional muster. They must come willingly, or not at all!
The dirty and somewhat secretive little elephant in the room is that NONE of this on either side of 54-40 works as long as these rampantly anti-Western values and morals fifth-columnists are allowed to remain unassimilated to continue their Pre-Conquista activities. Mike, haven't been to Toronto in ages and never got into it much when I did. MInd you, I was based in Windsor, which is a different thing again. But yes, not surprised African Africans are better better behaved than the strange and lawless welfare crew we have here.
Lots and lots and lots of China province in Calgary, last time I was there. Not necessarily bad, imo, but certainly different.
