Glad to hear Humza is out. It would have been better, much better, if his progenitors had never been let IN, but obviously mistakes were made. I note with fascination that his Wikipedia “Early Life” says: “Yousaf's mother, Shaaista Bhutta, was born in Nairobi, Kenya, to a family of Pakistani-Punjabi descent. Due to their non-African background, her family was regularly harassed and occasionally assaulted”
Indeed. I’m sorry to hear they were harassed, but this is the Early Life of nearly every one of Our Betters. Namely a tedious recitation of the egregious wrongs they’ve suffered For No Reason At All. Adam Schiff (IIRC) doesn’t have a list of suffering, but he is working on a novel about The Worst Thing That Ever Happened. So Adam is A Victim too, and don’t you forget it.
I’m sure I’ve mentioned that two of “my people” are Pashtun, but legally classified as Pakistanis. Muslim, needless to say. One also went the Kenya route before getting to the US. Now she was an infant during the Kenya phase and remembers little, but it still counts. Anyway, both of them have issues (the polite way of saying disdain for) with Punjabi (Indian) Muslims. I don’t know the merits and demerits of that argument, but if Dear Humza is an exemplar, my people are absolutely correct.
And WTF with the Scottish National Party? You freaking idiots. You let a brown person (their terminology, by the way; my girl referred to herself as such on a phone call just this afternoon) be your representative? You idiots. You fools. You absolute jackassed morons. The Scots are a people, a folk. Some Punjabi is NOT one of you. I would have no business fronting the SNP either. I could be a supporter, or even grey eminence of the SNP, but not the damned face of it. As a Chinaman, I’m not a Scot. Idiots. This clown show tells me the SNP cannot he taken seriously.
Finally, the Hate Speech law would have been (or IS) totally suitable for prosecuting a person for saying “hateful” things about Islam. One wonders if that wasn’t the Real Reason for the law.
