I missed the jukebox call the other day, so here's mine a couple days late. The Fat Boy Rag is an old Bob Wills tune performed here by Asleep At the Wheel. The mandolinist doubling on fiddle is Johnny Gimble, once the single most requested session man in Nashville and a veteran of the Wills band in the late 40s. Or Blue Oyster Cult "Then Came the Last Days of May", classic Buck Dharma guitar and southwestern imagery. Or to blow your ever lovin' Texan mind with some South Louisiana classic fiddle, "Jolie Blon", any version from Doug Kershaw will do.
