It seems that a constant goal among Progressives is to remove people from nature as much as possible and enclose them in artifice. The 15-minute cities, the attempts to destroy mobility, the attempts to destroy exurbs and suburbs and force people into dense urban housing, and even the effort to destroy the family farm are all examples. I think it's because they are Satanic, and Satan works best when people are surrounded by falsity and artifice. Nature is a voice of God, and this is a form of censorship. I'm reminded of Job 12:
“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind."
This post reminds me of the song "Пой душа" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y74EoMGBNes - with the forest being the proper place for families, instead of cities. I enjoy how the female singer moves seamlessly from German to Russian.
Suicide machine? How dare you think of it! How dare you steal your service, and that of your future progeny, from Our Betters? YOU don’t get to decide when you die, you selfish ungrateful criminal. THEY get to decide when you become useless and need to die. They were selected (picked? tagged? I can’t think of the correct word) to have dominion over you. Don’t believe me? Just ask Them.
