"You're all dressed up today," said 47 to the dwarven Ukrainian Narco Money Launderer as he met POTUS in DC. The encounter escalated into all-out disaster for Cocainsky as he talked over, disrespected and acted out like a spoiled child in the Oval Office.
You'll note his veiled threat below. Viz. The Atlantic's not going to protect you anymore. Whereupon Trump goes full Don:
.@VP: "Do you think that it's respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and attack the administration that is trying to prevent the destruction of your country?"@POTUS: "You don't have the cards right now. With us, you start having cards ... You're… pic.twitter.com/iTYyAmfuCJ

Wow. Never seen anything like it, ever, and it ended with Z getting booted out of the White House and staffers eating his lunch. Dam. Even Lindsey Graham, a war mongering UKR hawk, excoriated the diminutive, disrespectful and insulting Ukrainian vassal puppet.
Keen-eyed readers may remember a scene in Pulp Fiction. In the meanwhile, Z returns to Ukraine. Will he face prison when he gets there?
PS. Is Z high?!? Serious question.

Expect many speeches at the Oscars about how brave Zelenskyy was disrespected by Orange Man Bad™ and we need to give trillions to defeat Putin.
Will I be watching the Oscars? Nah. My appetite on being lectured on morality by pedophiles is non-existent.
Loved the European response. The US should pull out of NATO and let the Europeans fly on their own. As the meme says: "We can save money and let them hate us for free"
Was Zelenskyy chemically altered while on TV with Trump? Who knows, but not unlikely. Any road, our Second Greatest Ally’s leader got spanked, deservedly, on the international stage for being a condescending, sanctimonious, ungrateful little wretch who presumed to lecture us with his hand out.
But coked-up or not, Zelenskyy’s misbehavior was merely true to type. If only other supposed Great Allies who sanctimoniously and hypocritically lecture us with their hands out were treated in the same manner. (But of course they don’t. They get standing ovations.)
Did y’all see the photos of poor Oksana Markarova (UKR Ambassador to the US) face palming during Zelenskyy’s self-disembowelment?
Trump 2.0 is raw and unfiltered. What a breath of fresh air! Like him or not, you see what you are getting.
Dear Infidel, how many divisions do the Oscars have?
Anon, the hive mind went full swing. Huh, almost as though the script was... scripted.
We have to wonder, Mike. And yes, saw poor Markaova. Can't have been easy for her.
I think he's on the warpath, WSF. Good.
You are not a vassal puppet when you say no.
President Zelenskyy attempted to play the only card Ukraine had - President Trump’s desire for a rare earth metals deal - into a security guarantee backed by NATO membership, or U.S. troops in Ukraine. President Zelenskyy failed to achieve this, culminating in the scandalous Oval Office fiasco.
Using just one point for context, the 1994 agreement with Russia, UKR, and the USA to remove nuclear weapons from UKR provided security guarantees to UKR, which proved to be worthless in 2014, and beyond.
The stranaua Telegram channel painted President Zelenskyy as a figure who views himself as a mythical hero, a shield for Western civilization against (Russian) barbarism, and as David vs. Goliath. President Zelenskyy’s inner circle repeats the fantasy arguments, comparing Ukraine to LOTR's Minas Tirith, etc.
The unfortunate part for the United States is that President Trump invested so much of his candidacy around boasts that Trump had a unique ability to “solve” the Ukraine war in 24 hours, and that Trump made a UKR deal a visible part of his foreign policy. The Trump administration’s insistence on a metals deal, and complaints about shadowy Obamma deep-staters blocking the deal emphasizes how important “solving” UKR via deals was to President Trump. The scandalous Oval Office meeting - highlighting the failed metals agreement and absence of a peace agreement or even ceasefire - is unfortunately, also a blow to President Trump’s prestige, which isn’t a benefit to the USA.
“also a blow to President Trump’s prestige”
I’m not sure about that. (My polite way of saying “disagree.”) The minor hit (if any) was totally worth now being able to effectively ignore Zelenskyy to deal with Putin directly.
“Zelenskyy as a figure who views himself as a mythical hero”. Of course I have no idea if that’s an accurate analysis of Zelenskyy, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it were. That sort of narcissistic grandiosity and self-delusion is true to type. Perhaps Zelenskyy is laboring under the delusion that he’s Repairing Ukraine. But the grift may be the primary motivation. And secondarily (or “tertiarily”) there may be hatred and resentment (conscious or subconscious) of the majority of the populations of Ukraine and Russia both.
If Z is comparing UKR to Gondor all I can say is that he’s no Son of Numenor, but at least he’s not pretending to be of the Eldar. “The Ranger looked at Sam. ‘Elves are said to be wondrous fair…,’ he said dubiously. Sam snorted. ‘Meaning I’m not?’” (Not the actual dialog in Ithilien. I can’t be arsed to find the proper quotes because I’m sitting in a McDonalds near Stamford and I’m too lazy to hunt it down on my phone. But y’all get the gist.)
dont you suppose Trump started off a little pissed because Zman was 23 min late after meeting with the Ukranian Caucus of the U.S. Senate. Dont you suppose Trump KNEW that this group of senators told Zman to go in hot? That they had his back? after all they had just approved (unconstitutionally, spending begins in the House) 30B for Zman and sent the bill to the House.
sdharms, I wouldn't begin to argue with that.
