Wymxn Priestesses Are So Awesome

 

History isn't taught anymore in schools in the US and, for all I know, may have been expunged from the UK curriculum too. Behold, punters, Gramsci's long march through the institutions, but regardless, we're all critical thinkers here and some of us may even remember the far-off, mists of time arguments in favor of ordaining wymxn.

They weren't complex and went pretty much like this: Women can be judges, lawyers and politicians, so why not priests? Anything less is unjust! To exclude half of humanity from the priesthood is hateful, wrong and unjust and has to stop, the Gospel of love demands it. The Church didn't ordain women because it was hidebound to the patriarchal oppression of the past, this has to stop! And the good old kicker, "If we don't ordain women, no one in today's society will take us seriously."

How that last point's aged like vintage milk. My, how the people of the Anglo-sphere look to Canterbury and think, "At last I can take Anglicanism seriously because Sarah Mullally's in charge." What risible nonsense, just on the face of it, much less without the vaguely deeper point that the Church, founded by Christ, is to shape the world as opposed to the other way around. You'll recall, all you history buffs, how early Christians were ripped apart by wild beasts in the arenas of Rome for standing up for such a thing.

Then there's the secular sacrosanct taboo of social justice. No wymxn priestesses means no justice, badly, egregiously so, and we must correct that to become truly Christian and loving. Oh my, how compelling, until you make the effort and see what they're saying, which is this:

That the Church, from its earliest conception was wrong, grievously wrong, that it had injustice and sin written into its ministerial and sacramental DNA from the very beginning, because it didn't ordain women. And only now, since the enlightenment of the last 50 years have we seen the truth, inspired, no doubt, by the Holy Spirit zhirself.

For Holy Spirit, read Cultural Marxism or something worse, far worse, Satan himself. They were saying, and some still do, that the Church, the Mystical Body of Christ, was evil at something like its deepest level, and had to be corrected. This is one of Talarico's impudent little blasphemies masquerading as tolerance and love. But no, their stance, their position isn't about love, it's about hatred of the Church Christ founded, and if you hate that, what d'ye think of its founder, Christ himself?

Not much. Therein, my few friends, hangs the tale, an evil tale of revolt against God, see Lucifer, and in this case, the sacramental ministry he's given to us. That's, I believe, at the heart of it, but now? Behold the spectacle of persyns like Mullally pretending to be something, Archbishop, they don't even believe in anyway.

That in mind, keen-eyed readers will have noticed that Churches and dioceses which adopt wymxn priestesses soon lose all sacerdotal character, the innovation's like a solvent which dissolves sacramental belief and practice. Caveat and hey, here at the Compound, in this sylvan enclave which is North Central Texas, there are no wymxn priestesses and no one's complaining about that.

Women Bishops Are So Very Awesome

 

Where would we be without the sheer beauty of wymxn bishop figures? Just imagine, if you can, an Anglican world without them, in which no one, I repeat no one, would take us seriously. Uh huh, that was one of the, ahem, debating points in favor of the wymxn legislation in the Church of England's Synod and beyond. Think about it, if you don't have women bishops everyone will think you're some kind of joke. God, let the reader understand, most definitely has a sense of humor.

Others are far more serious. An ordained priesthood and episcopate which doesn't include women is exclusionary, bigoted and misogynist; in other words it's evil. So much, dear readers, for the ordained ministry from the age of the Apostles until 1976 in the US. Deficiently evil up until then, pure and whole ever after. Excuse me, the Apostles, who knew Christ, got it wrong? Apparently so, and grievously so. You see where that's going, punters, Christ Himself got it wrong, which hardly makes Him divine. Do the math, I dare you.

Ugly

Again, some proponents of  wymxn clergypersynnes wax biblical in their defense. Ordaining them, they claim, is a "scriptural imperative." Then they quote St. Paul, telling you with solemn evangelical conviction that there's no "male or female" in Christ. They might even throw in that bit about a net in which clean and unclean animals are gathered up, implying that even Gentiles are allowed into the Kingdom of Heaven. If them, so too wymxn priests and pontiffs. "Prayer," they tell you in all sanctimonious, ill-fitting suit condescension has "guided this scriptural discovery of unfolding truth."

Far out. So St. Paul, who famously forbade wymxn from teaching in church, a presbyteral role, didn't understand his own epistles? Really? And ordaining wymxn is scripturally led? Surely you mean Marxist/Boshevik/19thC radical led. Where, you ask our evangelical friend, did the ordination of women come from, the Bible or Sangerite Feminism. He'll splutter and change the subject.

And on and on. Long story short, what we're dealing with here is people pretending to be something they don't even believe in anyway. Call them dupes, best instance, of cultural Marxism, and wonder askance as the denominations and institutions which that movement's parasitically subverted collapse into hollowed out shells of their former selves.

Well that's miserable, you say, and it is, but take heart. When the wrecking's over the true will stand, as we do today. God will not be mocked.

We were told, you may recall, that if we didn't ordain wimmin to the priesthood no one would take us seriously and everyone would stop going to church. A powerful argument made all the more compelling by the ethical force behind it. Viz. Not having wymxn priests is unjust, bigoted and evil, so we must have they/them.

Leaving aside the hard-edged rigor of late 20th and early 21st century theology, we have to ask: Now that we've ordained wymmin for several decades is everyone taking us seriously and going to church? No, they are not.

Oh dear, we obviously haven't worked the equation hard enough, so maybe trans vicars and rainbow marriage rituals will finally persuade everyone to go to church because we're at last serious about social equity. First phase of the revolution failed? Double down.

But this is a smokescreen. Their intention isn't to build a Church they don't believe in, which they think has been unjust and effectively evil since the days of the Apostles. No, it's to tear it down. No matter, then, if congregations dwindle and die, the wrecking unicorn will have done its rainbow work.

They'll fail in this, the gates of hell shall not prevail, but in the meanwhile "there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." And persecution such as has been never seen. This is foretold.

Thanks to an influential art blogger everyone knows about Harpy Eagles. Harpy Eagles circle above places like Surbiton and swoop down on XR vegans, literally carrying them off to their eyries in Epping Forest.

Harpies watch, then they dive in for the kill, gripping their tofu-chewing prey with razor sharp talons and ferocious beaks.

Harpy Eagles scorn wymxn priestess figures too, and don't even bother to take them back to their forests for food. They just attack, savagely.
