So What's It All About?

 

What's it all about? Good question. First order of business, get a haircut, hippie, and then? Well you know the story, but d'ye think our beloved rulers are going to somehow vote themselves out of power and out of a not inconsiderable paycheck? You know, because they're all so virtuous, civic minded and all.

No, of course not, but the UK/Europe might start catching up with the US and do the vastly unpopular open borders math, as opposed to being stuck in risible Rainbow, NetZero, BLMland forever and ever amen. Then there's the war in Ukraine. Do you suppose, any of you, that Fortress Europa and plucky little England is going to fight Russia and somehow win? Do you think the US, which is effectively NATO, will do the same and bail out all the RainbowEuroTrans? Think again.

And it's worth thinking about because we, the US, are massively, hugely, vastly in debt with no way that I can see, other than a hard reset, Weimer/Reich style, of getting out of the fix. EU/UK ain't far behind, and they're way smaller. So what does this mean, what's it all about? 

That we're bankrupt, economically and spiritually. Long story short -- we're in real trouble because we've overspent and can't pay it back, not least viz. our spiritual deficit, which is huge. Maybe there's a snap way out of the former, not so much the latter. Listen up, all ye Brits, Europeans and Americans.

The people who built the culture we live in, with all its values and achievements, and the ethical code we take for granted as somehow "given," isn't. No, the culture you take for granted comes from its cult, which is catholic Christianity. No fooling. Get rid of that, which we've done, and the net result is cashing checks on our civilizational deposit without putting cash back in. Witness the wretched, ugly result, which is only just beginning to rear its hideous head. Abortion at birth anyone?

Is there a way out of this. Sure there is, people can wake up and vote, we live in democracy, apparently. Yeah, good luck with that, who knows, maybe mail-in ballots will mysteriously arrive to support  your vote and maybe they won't. What will the gen. pop., who never voted for their replacement think about that?

Good question, and in the meanwhile it's clearly time for nooses down the Mall.

Well here we all are, dancing on the bonfire of the vanities, and what a fire it is. NetZero, Open Borders, Diversity is our Strength, Islam is a religion of peace, debt is wealth, Gender's a "construct," ffs, and on. We live, dear friends, in a world of lies and they're evaporating as lies always do. But what's left when Left/Lib sloganeering's run its course?

Power. Sheer, objective, no holds barred power. We're seeing that right now in the Persian Gulf, for example. But here's the thing. Power can be exercised wisely, in pursuit of virtue and the common good. And it can be exercised badly, in pursuit of selfish interest.

Where do we, here in the US, stand? I'd like to say on virtue and the common good, but how can these qualities be part of our reckoning if we've abandoned the Faith which undergirds them? Serious question, punters.
