Liberation of Detroit

It's been a struggle, and whoever said it wouldn't be, the enemy is well entrenched, but there's light at the end of tunnel. Yes, my dear friends, there is. Check it out.

The Legend Lives On

Yes indeed, the Edmund Fitzgerald. Inspired by VM, check it out:

There was a time when I lived in Windsor, Ontario, I know, brave, like a town in Belgium the Allies bombed and was never built back better. Whatever, we'd watch the big ships on the Detroit river from our apartment on Assumption. Quite a thing.

On topic, HRH EII visited Windsor and remarked, "What a large city, I had no idea." She was looking down Tecumseh, I think, towards the Motor City.

It's Coming Back, Man. No, idiot, it's not

Reliable sources tell me America's onetime automotive capital's been reimagined as some kind of WholeFoods hipster enclave, a bucolic rustic, socially hi-fenced preserve returned to nature where factories, making things, once held sway.

Of course all the people living in the Preserve hate the working class and people of color, and vote socialist. How very odd, and I'm sure the feeling's mutual.

Reverie Over,

New Year's Eve 2024

Mexican music fills the air, Eduardo's exotic ducks are sleeping on the roof of his house across the yard and all seems well with this small rural haven in the North Central Texas Exclusion Zone. Later there'll be fireworks and maybe some celebratory gunfire. Just remember, kids, what goes up must come down.

Detroit, not far from the riverbank (2006)

Speaking of News Year's Eve gunfire, I remember looking across the river at Detroit from Canada at around midnight in the late '90s. Man, it sounded like a firefight was going on over there and I guess it was. Apparently some jolly revelers had opened up on each other with MAC-10s somewhere downtown. I know this because it was reported in the press, which is always honest, loyal and true.

So be careful out there and have a great New Year. Here's a prayer by way of resolution:

Almighty God, who hast poured upon us the new light of thine incarnate Word: Grant that the same light, enkindled in our hearts, may shine forth in our lives; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

God bless you all,

Urban Hellholes

it was bad then

Everyone here knows it but many choose to ignore it; Europeans can scarcely comprehend much less believe it, but our major cities are urban wasteland hellholes. Seriously, I'd email pals in the UK from Detroit in '98 and I don't think they believed me.

No, fools. The urban, asset-stripped carnage of the Motor City seemed like hyperbole, mind blogging perhaps to them, wild exaggeration. But no, I was pulling punches. Here's Detroit:

Beautiful, isn't it. Here's Chicago:

And let's not forget the nation's Capitol, DC:

But perhaps you're wondering what happened to Gary Indiana:

And on, and on, and on.  Everywhere you look our cities are decaying into urban, hellhole wastelands. It's America's dirty little secret if you like, but not to worry, we have trans bathrooms, rainbow hurray!

That aside, do you think the outward and visible reflects the inward and spiritual?

Exodus

yet another urban hellhole

According to data from the Economic Innovation Group, some 2 million people fled large US cities from 2020-2022, with the largest exodus taking place in 2020-21:

Domestic outmigration from large urban counties to suburbs and exurbs continued in 2022, though at a slower pace than the year prior. Over 1.2 million people left large urban counties between July 1, 2020 and July 1, 2021, with nearly 800,000 flowing into the suburbs and exurbs; this movement continued to a lesser degree in 2022. Large urban counties trimmed losses to 861,000 last year, while inflows to the suburbs halved and domestic migration to exurban counties fell by one-quarter.

California and New York were especially badly hit by people leaving Democrat tyranny zones in 2022, with 300,000 people fleeing the Sunshine State and 343,000 pulling out of the Big Apple. Where do they go? Florida and Texas for starters, and can you blame them.

vote for the progressives, idiots

Serious question, are we heading for a black flag national divorce?

The Center Cannot Hold

Imagine, if you can, the field of ruins stretching out from the Palatine Hill in Rome around the middle of the 7th century A.D. It was a city which had declined from over a million inhabitants to less than 30,000 persons in something like 150 years, maybe less.

The center, my friends, of the mighty Western Roman Empire most certainly didn't hold. Why? For many reasons, not least an increasing rottenness of currency manifesting in huge inflation and the ineluctable transfer of power to major landowners.

Put simply, a very few very wealthy people controlled everything and with that the state, Res Publica, was fractured. To put it another way, the center was bust. Fast forward to today. Here we are in the midst of American Imperium and guess what?

Our money's worthless, it's a note of debt at interest which can never be repaid, ever. And as it was in the days of ancient Rome, more and more power subsumes into the hands of a very few select men. You'll notice our ongoing presidential contest is an affair of wealthy plutocrats jousting for position.

We have, if you care to step back and reflect, already Balkanized, and the process will continue; the center has not held and the Beast slouches towards Nazareth in all its degeneracy. Our task, gentle readers, is to stand steady and keep the Faith.

What is This Excel Degeneracy?

Just in. The UK's Excel Centre, a massive event venue set in the heart of London's bustling Canary Wharf deadzone financial district, is hosting DragCon on 6-8 January 2023. What is DragCon UK 2023? Just a kid-friendly drag show featuring young boys dressed up as junior prostitutes walking down a runway.

Did anyone say pedophile groomer, and if not why not. What utter abhorrence. And on point, what kind of parents would so abuse their children this way? For that matter, how would any sane culture defend and promote such wickedness.

Answer being, of course, that the culture's not sane, it's been driven bad crazy by the infernal power. Baphomet, as this simple mind-blog never tires of reiterating, is notoriously trans. And you'll note, scandalized onlookers, that Satan always abandons his own. No fooling.

That in mind, perhaps it's no accident that GM's funding trans libraries for US kindergartens, and that London's Excel Centre's owned by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company. Last I heard, the Unied Arab Emirates was against transgenderism, in fact it's illegal in their country, as is dancing.

So what's this all about? Apart from the urgent need to boycott hideous, ugly and overpriced Crocs.

Wreckers

One of the things we love about America's elite rulers is the way they've led us to success and prosperity over the past few decades. It's not as though they've been traitorously asset-stripping the land for personal gain or anything like that. Here, have a look.

Gary Indiana. You'll note how much better things are now, far more prosperous. As in, a lot. Everyone's standard of life, from civic environment on down is so much better.

You see how we're so much more prosperous now that the experts are in charge. And what about Detroit. Check out this typical Motor City school:

The Kakistocracy's done well, clearly. But maybe you're not convinced. Here's another school, back before trans bathrooms improved the curriculum.

Result!

Stunning, isn't it. But seriously, how have we allowed a gang of crooks, mountebanks, grifters, profiteers and corrupt clowns to run our country, destroy our cities and with it, the lives of our people, especially the poor. And here's the rub.

The very people who say they're about "lifting up the oppressed" are the ones looting them. But don't worry, at least you'll be able to get a sex-change on the public dime as you collect your welfare.

Detroit's Coming Back!

Whoa. Such systemic racism in the Motorcity. I tell you, "it's coming back!" Said no one ever except various buffoons and mountebanks.

Yuletide Street Art

Here at the Compound we like to think of ourselves as patrons of the Arts, which is why we're delighted to showcase this new installation, "Yuletide."

"It's like a dream I had, of Detroit," gushed one visitor to the gallery, "That I'm lost somewhere scary with junkies, hookers, winos and burning oil drums."

What a terrifying dream!

Build The Walls!

Yes, walls, plural. Everyone knows that a big wall on the southern border makes sense, unless you're a human trafficker, drug runner, cartel kingpin or vote hungry Democrat. But what about the threat from the North?

A Typical Northern Workers Paradise

That's right, the horde of northerners fleeing failed socialist utopias like Illinois and New Jersey or the workers paradise hell holes of cities like Baltimore and Detroit. Where are these refugees heading, to what haven? The South, of course, and who can blame them.

We Need Two Walls

Problem being, the refugees take their ideology with them, they still fly the rainbow hammer and sickle flags of their homeland. They are a threat to the Southland. This means another wall has to be built, a strong, high and beautiful wall, a wall along the Mason-Dixon line.

Artist's Impression of Wall Amusement Park Tourist Destination

Who will pay for the wall? The booming economies of the South, and once built it'll pay for itself. Tourism, hotels, restaurants, fun parks, exotic hunting preserves, sporting clubs and more; this northern wall, like it's southern sister, will be a revenue center, handsomely rewarding farsighted initial investment. And the refugees?

A Beautiful Golden Wall!

They can return home and rebuild their shattered states or be funneled into Colorado. I know, some readers of this popular mind blog might object to the latter option so let's stick with the first. Then there's the "California Question."

That too must be addressed.

All for Dixie,

Detroit Comeback?

"That's not the Philippines that's Detroit you idiot," Spoiler 216

Are you in the music industry? It was 1997 and I was in a cab, fresh out of London and heading to the Town Pump in what passed for downtown Detroit. It was a neat evening and, long story short, I moved. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

But what a culture shock, London to Detroit. It's hard to describe even now and it was harder then. Miles of abandoned or half abandoned city blocks, criss crossed by highways and an unrelenting ghetto of decaying, abandoned, burned out, crack den dystopia. And I didn't see the half of all 138 square miles of it.

Is there anything like it in England? I don't think so and feel that friends in the Old Country thought my email reports were tall tales. No, they weren't. Then again, no city in England has lost a million plus inhabitants in the last 50 years and gone from being the automotive capital of the world to... not. So you can excuse incomprehension.

Fast forward to today. I visit the onetime Motor City when I can and always have fun; it's good to see the city's downtown and immediate neighborhoods looking less blighted and no wonder. The burned out crack houses have fallen down and reverted to nature, leaving what was once a city open to agrarian white hipsterdom. Hey, go for it kids. And the result?

A small island of central civility in the increasingly empty shell of a once major city. Not dissimilar, when you think of it, to ancient Rome following the breakdown of western imperial authority. But will America's Motor City grow wings and fly again?

Sometimes a song is worth a thousand words.

Detroit's Best Ad Ever!

Dan Gilbert, multibillionaire owner of Bedrock Detroit is committed to revitalizing America's erstwhile automotive powerhouse, which is why he ran this incredible ad. It's Dan's vision for the future Motor City.

Now, look carefully at the demographics in Dan's ad and think hard about Detroit.

Can you spot the problem? Or is it a solution? While you run the numbers on Dan's vision, here's Mayor Kwame.

He's in jail now and Dan's incredible ad has been taken down.

Good luck, Detroit.

Russians Hack Church of England?

Shocking new evidence appears to show the small but aggressively transsexual Church of England disappearing into a portal in Yakutia, Russia, leading experts to claim that the venerable denomination has been hacked by the Kremlin.

Video footage shows the diminutive Church rising into the Russian sky before vanishing into a "portal."

The Church of England disappearing into a portal

"The strange video, seeming to show the Church of England full of lights in the night sky, has emerged in media circles in Yakutia, the largest region in Russia," stated one UFOlogist, "The small object is then swallowed by a portal. I think it was hacked."

Yakutia is famous for its diamonds, which may have drawn the cash-strapped CofE to the Russian wilderness.

Reports of the numerically challenged denomination disappearing altogether have come in from several countries, including Canada, New Zealand and America.

However, when questioned about Russian hacking, Lambeth Palace declined to comment.
