TRAITORS

Yes, Lloyds of London, which withdrew insurance from ships travelling through that old oil chokepoint, the Straits of Hormuz. Then 47 offered alt insurance, dropping the price of oil and opening, in theory, the sea lanes. Keen-eyed observers of the insurance scene are wondering if shipping companies will return to Ayatollah Lloyds.

They really really hate you

In related news, the Cultural Marxist Parliament of "it's only got One Destroyer" Great Britain has abolished hereditary peerages in the House of Lords. I'm appalled by this, not least because holding aristocracy to sound governance makes sense but also because replacing them with bought and paid for grifters, aka MPs, opens all kinds of evil doors and cheapens the nation. To put it mildly.

Lord Palmerston. Those guys were hard and went hard

So here we are, beholding the deliberate demolition of a once very great nation, the UK, trying to peer through the fog of war over Persia and the Middle East, and taking care of Ma LSP in the Metrosprawl. She's doing pretty well, by the way.

Cheers,

LSP

Ma LSP being taken care of in England, did I understand that correctly?

Your spouse or Mother?

I thought you were in TX friend.

I've heard little good about Englands medical system so I am concerned.

Crusty Old TV Tech here. My Lord, St. Padraig is spinning fast enough to propel the Queen Mary in his crypt! No mention in that rainbow inclusive mess of crapola of Our Lord, or St. Paddy's Lorica, or the "Angelus bell, in its lifting swell"... What has happened to Ireland, who kept the faith alive in their monasteries those centuries ago?

What's the use of hereditary titles now? Losers, England's full of losers.

As to Lloyds, they've lost it. Why go back if they have the ability to pull all the insurances without notice? And it positions the USA as the World's Insurance and Gatekeeper.

Lloyds only mattered when the British Navy could cover the insured. And we have seen that the British Navy is a paper tiger. But American insurers backed by the US Navy and the rest of the US military, heck yeah, we'll insure them and ensure they get there and back.

Interesting graphic on the Shannon parade. Inclusive? I don't know about you but whenever someone uses the word "inclusive" I start to froth at the mouth and have this uncontrollable urge to slay demons.
