Good for ya - I don't darken the doors of wally since I found out they are part of one of little daddy warbucks gun control group. How many arms and legs did ya have to give up for that stash?
If you're going to celebrate with a bacon sandwich on Ramadan, you might also want to consider hosting a "Draw Mohammed" contest. Those usually go over well in Texas. Target practice for the new ammo.
So the real question is did you pray while heading to the Sporting Goods Dept. "Lord, please let there be ammo just this once."? He does give us the desires of our heart.

Not just .22, but .22 WMR. Sweet. I'd celebrate too.

Must be a Texas thing.

Very pleasant surprise, RHT!
We can but hope, Kid.
Maybe it was a supply chain glitch, WSF, or a miracle.
I totally sympathize with the Wallyworld sentiment, Anon, but it's pretty much our only option here.
Still, the bullets were normal price, around 7 bucks for the LR and 20 for the WMR. Result.
Thanks, Linda!
Now that, LL, is an excellent idea.
I may have offered up a quick one, Paul...
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV): In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
I tend to take these small blessings somewhat literally.
WWW, me too.
