Good for ya - I don't darken the doors of wally since I found out they are part of one of little daddy warbucks gun control group. How many arms and legs did ya have to give up for that stash?
If you're going to celebrate with a bacon sandwich on Ramadan, you might also want to consider hosting a "Draw Mohammed" contest. Those usually go over well in Texas. Target practice for the new ammo.
So the real question is did you pray while heading to the Sporting Goods Dept. "Lord, please let there be ammo just this once."? He does give us the desires of our heart.
Not just .22, but .22 WMR. Sweet. I'd celebrate too.
ReplyDeleteThe tide may be turning !

ReplyDeleteVery pleasant surprise, RHT!
ReplyDeleteWe can but hope, Kid.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it was a supply chain glitch, WSF, or a miracle.
ReplyDeleteI totally sympathize with the Wallyworld sentiment, Anon, but it's pretty much our only option here.
ReplyDeleteStill, the bullets were normal price, around 7 bucks for the LR and 20 for the WMR. Result.
Thanks, Linda!
ReplyDeleteNow that, LL, is an excellent idea.
ReplyDeleteI may have offered up a quick one, Paul...

ReplyDelete1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV): In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
I tend to take these small blessings somewhat literally.
WWW, me too.
