LSP - All Talk No Action?

So Where's The Action Buddy?

Yeah, so what about the new rig and the lever gun, so-called "LSP," if that's your real name, which we doubt.

Good question, and right about now the readers of this popular if lighthearted mind blog are wondering if it's all talk and no action. Sure, you talk the talk, "LSP," but where's the walk?

Where's the fishing, the guns, the horses, where's all of that? Where's the country life we don't pay good money to see played out in real time, straight from a rural haven deep in the heart of Texas? Where is it? I'll tell you.

Shaolin Glory Brexit

First off, unexpected evolution with a returning son; there goes the rig and the gun. Secondly, recovering from being kicked off the back of an Arab, who btw self-identifies as a woman, and being tended to by a dog and a recruit.

Will the leg heal in time to see the kid off to Basic? To find out I hopped and climbed into the rig and drove to Walmart. Guess what? No problem, couldn't have done it a week ago. So there is movement and this, philosophers, signifies life. Which in this instance is made up of small triumphs.

In other news, the European Union's setting up an Army! The world trembles at the dread step of the rainbow phalanx. Who knows, perhaps the enemy'll die laughing.

Advance to contact,

LSP

Very good to hear you're on the mend, Parson!

Lock her up!

EU Army? Should function as well as the EU Parliament.

EU army vs NATO? Be interesting to see who contributes to which side. I'm thinking it'd go east vs west again.

Glad you're on the mend. Always goes better with a Heeler to help with the healing. Not much of a better physical therapist, making you get up and move once in a while. (Also keeps him from getting bored and into trouble, a problem we still have with ours, even after a year.)

Seems like it oughta be a law in Texas that every home have at least one lever gun.

Good! We can leave NATO now?

Im pleased that you're feeling better. Don't overdo it. Slow and steady, and think twice before you jump on an wild Arab woman again.

So happy to hear your leg is healing nicely. I've been so worried about you.

Good news on the leg LSP. Getting out of NATO would be nice.

Good news, and a good lookin Blue Heeler... :-)

So, did you buy a lever gun and in what caliber?

Bit by bit, drjim. Looking forward to walking again, have to say.

WSF, I get the feeling that no one's taking the rainbow unicorn threat of the EU army too seriously. When would they have time to fight, in between Pride parades?

Good points, Mattexian! And you're right, there should be a lever law in Texas, I'll check. The Heeler's doing well but he's confused by the walker, partly because he's pretty blind now and, to be fair, it's confusing.

Maybe NATO's had its day? You know, seeing as how the EU army'll be such a mighty force and all.

I wish, Ed.

LL, I'll be a LOT more careful in the future.

Thanks, Adrienne. It's a bit of a deal...

Kid, why stay in NATO when there's this awesome new EU army?

LSP said...

He's a good dog, NFO, though he's getting on a bit. Rescue dog.

And Kid, still don't have that gun because the $$ went on teenage son expense... but I'll probably do the expected thing and get a 30-30. Mind you, I WANT a 45-70. Hmmm.

Keep healing. I remember a few weeks after the motorcycle accident getting antsy to start doing things, but that was my mind writing checks that my body couldn't cash. :-/

Good to hear you are healing. Slow and steady.
Poor ol Blue, I bet it is all very confusing to the ol guy.
Willie is losing the sight in one eye and getting gray around his muzzle. It's like living with a wee old man... lol

A dog getting old isn't as bad as it used to be. Lots of advances in veterinary nutrition, and good senior dog food available nearly everywhere. Up to a few months ago I was feeding Teddy, our 15-year-old Lab mix, the Iams Senior Plus formula until my store suddenly stopped carrying it, and we had a spot of light bank accounts, so we picked up the senior formula of HEB Pets dog food, and as I've said before, there's no arguing in my mind of a placebo effect in old dogs. If there's proper nutrients for them in there, especially supplements for their bones and joints, they will stay spry for a long time. Teddy suffers from cataracts, which happens to all of us, and achy joints, but he still runs around the yard with our younger dogs, trying to keep them in their place.
