I have work to do outside, will be watching what I'm doing rather than watching a fleeting celestial event like the hoards crowded in "those special viewing areas" only to get trapped in the melee trying get back home. (Yeah, when it gets dark I may take a peek, who wouldn't?) I figure many of those awaiting the TSE might still have a garage full of TP from the last "Do this to save yourself!" event. Same result.
You guessed right that I'm not in that "religious" camp, the one hoping for enlightenment from a momentary daytime lack of sun when the moon parks itself in just the spot (which also happens when a cloud rolls over). Now, if the sun parks itself between us and the moon...well, that's Revelation Level Event that could also simultaneously be an Extinction Level Event.

He's in The Motherland, they don't even have ice, drink hot tea, not proper sweet iced tea, think chips are fish....how can we expect him to have sound WiFi to check in with the hoard? Then again he could be held captive at The Marmalade Cottage Compound, under the watchful eye of "The Wolves with a British Accent Howl".
Paul, I was at DFW when it happened, at the duty free. All of a sudden it became dark as pitch and we slipped into another dimension, which took me, happily, to the UK. Far out.
Wrap yourself in a faraday bag to stay safe, and have a good time in London (I'm jealous!) God speed...

Safe travels, Parson. God bless.
ReplyDeleteFair winds and following seas.
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard from you for a long time now. If you've shuffled off this mortal coil, I'll assume that you left your guns to me...
ReplyDeleteI fear that LSP has found The Magic Roundaboutand may be unable to find a way out.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen your page update since 4/7. Is it a glitch on my end or yours?
ReplyDeleteHey, padre, you may be traveling, but pop in and let us know you're still kicking.

ReplyDeleteLet us hope that no ill has befallen LSP. Perhaps he can chime in on the runaway horses in London.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Adrienne! Had a great time, what fun to visit.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda, what a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteAll went strangely well and without a hitch, LL, even the planes were on time. A minor miracle.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, LL, arms and armor are yours to distribute to my sons at your discretion. Should the need arise.
ReplyDeletenbc, I made it back. Yes, it wasn't easy, but I did.
ReplyDeleteDidn't touch my wretched laptop for a couple of weeks, Anon. Felt good, but back now.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Julie, all safe, sound and back in Texas.
ReplyDeleteHa! Paul, it was an... adventure.
ReplyDeleteI saw the headline, Anon, and was in the right part of town to see them, but didn't.
