Warning Order

Do you dare think, for an instant, that the way we live now will not be judged, that our so-called society of grift, scam, malfeasance, self-idolatry, fraud and worse, will somehow go on forever? If so, think again. Such wickedness cannot and will not stand.

Take note, a Day of Wrath is barreling down the pike at us faster than you can say "national debt at interest" or "money laundering crooks." So prep up, and begin with the spirit. Lent is our opportunity to do so.

Dies Irae,

LSP

  1. My 84 year old neighbor across the hall is a devout Roman Catholic. Someone gave her piece of Carrot Cake and she was please she didn't get it tomorrow, Ash Wednesday. Explained what foods she will be giving up for the next forty days. I learned something today.

  2. I have been hoping and praying for 'the day of wrath' to come soon, to put an end to the wickedness and evil, even though I don't expect to survive it.
May God have mercy on us all.
Have a Blessed Lent and Easter, LSP.✝️

  3. Thank you again for this LSP. I tell the kids that we have a lot of weapons available to us in this war we are in- Holy Mass, the sacraments, prayer and fasting.

I plan on re-reading the New Testament this Lent while abstaining from all internet news sites. That's a tough one in an election year. Most of my sons and my one son by law have been doing the Exodus 90 regimen since the beginning of the year.

  4. NIce one, WSF. I'm aiming for a pretty rigorous Lent here, by the grace of God.

  5. The evil will most definitely be brought to an end, Anon. Is the chalice of wrath full? Apparently not yet but things are accelerating.

  6. Good question, LL.

Carbs, wine (except on Feast days), meat on Wednesdays and Fridays and more besides. Not as strict as Athos but looking in that direction.

You know, it baffles me. I know very, very few "Bible Christians" who fast. They look at you weirdly when you suggest it. But it's right there in the Good Book, our Lord recommends it.

  7. What a good plan and regimen, DOS. I'll be applying myself too. The Church gives us all these weapons and tools for the war, we must use them.
