Just a short musical interlude.
States Rights, except for California, Oregon, Washington and everywhere else Democrats trample on our freedoms in their drive to full and doomed Marxism.
Have they no sense of history? No, they want to abolish that.
Your Pal,
LSP

What they are forgetting is that 'some' of us did study history. And lived some of it...
ReplyDeletePeople who don't know history are easier to control.
ReplyDeleteCheck out the Johnny Cash version of the song.
ReplyDeleteWe know the communists for who they really are, what they are about and that is precisely why President Trump was elected. Whether we can keep the Republic is a different matter entirely. But there are some of us who will not go gentle into that good night.
History, real history not the PC garbage that gets taught, should be required in schools. Folks may avoid real problems that way. While it may not necessarily repeat itself, it does, as Twain supposedly said, tend to rhyme.
ReplyDeleteHistory is racist. So is this song. You are all racist. The Milky Way is racist (too much white stuff in it).
ReplyDeleteEverything is racist Except for Oprah. All hail the Divine Miss O.
Whoa, RHT, Mister Rate's Advice! And hey, Mr. Helm was exceptional, not least for being a drummer AND a vocalist, good at both to boot. His later stuff worked too, tho we suspect he was an appalling old hippy. I like Great Train Robbery.
ReplyDeleteCheers.
NFO, I know you were there.
ReplyDeleteThese fools think they redesign us into some weird Marxist utopia, like Cambodia, the Soviet Union, Zimbabwe or China.
I'd argue we won't go peacefully into the night against the new Soyviet Revolution.
Linda, I was shocked, years ago, to discover US schools weren't teaching history but "Social Studies." Whatever the hell that means. But we know, trans rainbow Marxism.
ReplyDeleteAnd think, American Christians PAY for this via tax. Outrageous.
I hadn't heard the Cash version, LL. NICE.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Light v. Dark is there for all to see. We're not about to roll over, will they?
Don't it just, Jim.
ReplyDeleteBTW, will someone, please, sort out the outrageous scandal that is our public school system?
But Infidel, have you stopped to check your privilege. Are you on Oprah? No? Better sort that out.
ReplyDeleteBlack Holes are now White Holes. Don't say "Gwinny."
