I'm so CDO (same as OCD, but in proper order) that I not only obey signs, but I count my items before getting in the speedy checkout lane. One of our local stores put up new signs for speedy check out that say, "12ish items." Wow. Not only did it make me smile, but the pressure release was phenomenal. I still counted my items to make sure I was within range though. Heh
I think it's because you're thinking everyone around you is counting your items to make sure you have the proper number. I've heard that people can get real nasty if you don't. I rarely use the speedy lane because I'd rather stand around and chat with people so long lines don't bother me.
I ignore signs too.
ReplyDeleteI think that dog looks rather content.
ReplyDeleteA dog that can read. How cool is that?

I always think there's something strange about those lanes. Nervous making. Why? I don't know.

ReplyDeleteYou're probably right. There's extra pressure in the "fast lane"!
ReplyDeleteCute pic, but I don't think he's breaking the rule hard enough.
