Ebola, Government Gets More Dumber and Stupider

Just when you thought that that things couldn't get any worse, President Obama has appointed an Ebola Czar, Ron Klain.

Limo Lib Apparatchik

Klain's main qualifications in leading the effort to contain this deadly disease are that... he doesn't have any.

Some people have said that "the wheels have come off the trolley" when it comes to America's response to the killer virus and that seems to be true, except in Dallas, where there weren't any in the first place.

Rumors that the Keystone Kops are in charge of this operation are entirely true.

Stay tuned for on-the-spot, real-time reporting from Dallas, America's viral hot zone, where local nurses say in private that they're "terrified of Ebola."

Mosquitoes may or may not be Ebola vectors.

Be safe,

LSP

  1. Ron Klain used to be Joe Biden's assistant, so he has political credentials to manage a virus that could wipe out millions of people. I'm sure that he'll do every bit as well as Biden would have done if he was ebola czar.

  2. If West Nile Virus can be transmitted by mosquitoes, so can the Ebola Virus according to a Virologist that I know who works at the National Institutes of Health in Maryland.

  3. There's something very wrong going on when Lagos, Lagos! does a more professional job than we're doing here.

Biden for Czar? Sure, why not. Might as well. He's probably immune anyway, being an android.

I'd rather not contemplate the mosquito as vector aspect. Right scary. And that's without the Administration's "help."

  4. I don't know that mosquitoes can carry ebola. I know that they carry West Nile Virus and that it killed a lot of people.

In the Houston Area, the mosquito is the State Bird...

  5. It's like a Saturday Night Live skit...Biden's Assistant becomes the Ebola Czar.

    Except it's real.

  6. All too real.

For some reason, and I know you'll think me eccentric, I get the feeling USGOV isn't taking this too seriously.

  8. They have Biden's factotum running the plague management. How much more serious could they be?

  9. Check this one out:

@pressSec on Klain appointment: “We’re looking at something on the order of 5 or 6 months"

Klein can't begin to be the Czar until Joe Biden has a new assistant in place... apparently. This is a tweet from a TIME Magazine reporter.

I think that people in high office are missing an essential gene.

  10. Hunh. Why does that not surprise me.

Good thing we're not dealing with a deadly contagious virus which we can't cure.
