Statuary

Some of you may have noticed New York's brave and beautiful bronze state of a hefty black woman. Kamala's field working cousin? Others have wondered if the attractive statue lacks representative realism. Perhaps this statue would be more appropriate?

You be the judge, and thanks, Dr. Swankenstein, for the heads up.

Your Old Pal,

  1. They pull down our statues, we should be able to pull down their statues.

And, sadly, the statue of Lenin is still standing in Seattle, Washington. Which, of course, tells you everything you need to know about said Seattle.

  3. Hey, I thought that statue was Michelle. You mean it isn't?????

Used to be an old joke that asked, "What's life?" and the answer was, Life is a magazine that costs fifty cents when you only have a quarter, but that's life.

But this is how we live now and that statuary is the modern life's new answer to the old joke's question.

  4. Parson didn't you know? Morbidly obese black women are now the height of sexual attractiveness. And if you don't want to have sex with a morbidly obese black women you are a racist and a hater!

Oh, and I did not have an American Pope on my bingo card. I like him. I wonder what my father, also from the south side of Chicago, also named "Robert" would have thought.

  7. Got any room for Afrikaners in your parish? Dutch Reformed, I know, but help is help. The Episcopal hierarchy washes its hands of them: https://religionnews.com/2025/05/12/episcopal-church-ends-refugee-resettlement-citing-moral-opposition-to-resettling-white-afrikaners/
