What Fresh Hell is This?

You may have noticed a Dallas church blessed a crew of degenerate rainbow drag nuns, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, on Sunday. The blasphemous worship ritual took place at the so-called Hope Cathedral in Oak Lawn, where congregants recited a special diversity pledge creed extolling the virtue of drag queens who mock Christianity and Catholicism:

I won't comment but perhaps you noticed the Rainbow Hopians are all-in for people "no matter who they love." How very lovely, but what about someone who loves the unholy spirits of Irma Greese, Hiltler or Dzyrzhinsky, what then? Cult logic says that's OK, but of course they don't believe in reason and neither does their Father who was a murderer from the beginning.

Keen-eyed readers will remember the demon Baphomet and the conclusion of The Wicker Man.

Cordially,

LSP

  1. I'm not an expert on these things, but doesn't a "service" like come perilously close to desecrating that church?

  2. Yeah, "Michael, bring me the Flamethrower!"

And, yeah, what drjim asked. Doesn't this mess with the holy mojo of said church?

  3. I'm sure Pope Francis will approve of this. After all, at least they aren't conservative MAGA extremists.

  4. What do you expect from a United Church of Christ church? They support infanticide, and same sex marriage so drag is no big deal to them. B. Obama was UCC. Membership is falling like a stone while their churches, like this one, are busy tying millstones around their own necks, dragging their unfortunate sheep with them.

  7. I'd say it most definitely does, drjim, but maybe that structure was never sacred in the first place.

  8. Beans, I''d say they're heaping burning coals upon their heads.

Man, the devolution into hellish insanity accelerates.

  10. Well said, Pewster, and the same thing goes for TEC, the Methodees, PECUSA, Lutherans et al. Rome too, wherever the "smoke of satan" has subverted the Church. Weird, eh? An almost total Western Church apostasy.

I'd forgotten the Magic O was UCC.

  11. Not a bad call nonetheless, DOS. Could've been Episcopalien or any one of a number of rainbow denoms. For that matter, could've been an RC church too -- would they have been held to account by the hierarchy? Not in Germany or Holland.

    Kyrie.
