A Sunday Hypothetical

Here's a Sunday hypothetical for all you gentlemen and gentlewomen to reflect upon in the vesper light. Imagine a person comes up to you and announces they've left denomination X because of its ludicrous and risible slide into rainbow malfeasance.

"Good," you reply, "come to us, we're not about about the rainbow." They nod and ask, "But I'm a Democrat, is that OK?" You answer, "You do know, don't you, that the Democrat party is 100% rainbow and abortion?" Their eyes go out of focus and look into the distance, they typically change the subject. So what's going on?

Clearly their minds are bifurcated, one half Democrat, the other half Christian, and when the two systems collide their synapses shut down and the poor conflicted person goes into a kind of mental stasis. But what does this mean? I called Canada for expert advice.

"The problem is spiritual, LSP, they're partially possessed by some demon, they have a satanic mind block. You need to say a prayer of exorcism over them."

Good call, perhaps the Archangelic prayer, here it is:

Sancte Michael Archangele, defende nos in proelio, contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli esto praesidium. Imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur: tuque, Princeps militiae caelestis, in virtute Dei, in infernum detrude satanam aliosque spiritus malignos, qui ad perditionem animarum pervagantur in mundo. Amen.

Remember, the Devil, like an English schoolboy, hates Latin.

Out Demons Out,

LSP

  1. There is a war against humanity going on, LSP, spiritual and physical. I say the prayer to Archangel Michael often, ( in English, as I don't know Latin)

  3. These people have a remarkable resistance to the effects of cognitive dissonance. They do not shut down, they double down.

  4. I agree with Wild... they cannot separate their beliefs from the 'reality' of what is occurring.

  5. Interesting that in your previous post, you posit the question of which party Jesus would have one/us vote for. GOP or Dem(on)?

And now the presentation of the Dem(ons) as the party of Lucifer.

Mankind has always had the inclination and ability to screw up everything that was originally good. I have an utter disappreciation for much of and many within the GOP. Cowards and short-sighted nearly one and all. And, in my way of thinking, not the "party of God."

And yet...how can anyone, I mean ANYONE, affiliate themself, in thought or word or deed, with the Dem(ons) party? What one single idea do they possess that builds up?

Politics has become the new religion of fanaticism.
    Religion has become fanatically political.

    In broad categories:
One party does things that they shouldn't. Half of the sin equation.
The other party doesn't do what it should. The other half of the sin equation.

    Two paths to hell.
One path to the Beatific Vision!

And may Michael's rebukes of satan, in Jesus' Holy Name, aid us down the path of Life.

  6. Anon, have you noticed that when you say that prayer, regularly and with fervency, bad things happen? I'd say this means we're over the target.

  8. It's just bizarre, pewster. I say again, driven insane by Satan.

  9. It's a very strange thing, NFO.

On point, 100s of 1000s of Christians voted for the party which hates their religion.

    Far out.

  10. Prodigal, they're both, clearly, nests of vipers.

That in mind, you'd think Christians would be able to parse the situation a little more clearly. Apparently not, which says something about their faith or lack of it.

  11. A neighbor is a "True Believer" Democrat and a staunch Roman Catholic. I limit our conversations to our dogs and neighbor parties. Somehow he sees his way is proper. Arguing with him is akin to teaching a pig to sing.

Satan is on a roll and those of us who reject Satan's work must endure until the time Satan loses.

  12. Totally agree, WSF. In the meanwhile, "They have eyes but cannot see."
