Who knew NATOWAVE was a thing, but so it is.

By way of warning order, Russkies remain operative in Syria.

  1. Russians have been in Syria for a while, haven't they?

  2. We who have little bandwidth have difficulty with videos. As LindaG observes, the Russians have been in Syria as long as I've been alive. They made their first big move in 1963, which some say is the year of my birth. Others dispute the fact. In the 1963 Syrian coup d'état which brought the Syrian regional branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party to power, also brought in the Russians. As fate would have it, the new leadership appointed Hafez Assad commander of the Syrian Air Force. In February 1966, Assad participated in a second coup, which toppled the traditional leaders of the Ba'ath Party. Assad was appointed defense minister by the new government. (he was moving up in much the way my position in the Dallas Light (irregular) Cavalry improved. Four years later, Assad initiated a third coup which ousted the de facto leader Salah Jadid and appointed himself as leader of Syria. Does this mean that I will one day replace Melania Trump as Colonel of the DLC (not likely)?

  3. That they have, Linda. It's important for them as well as... complex.

  4. I'm sorry, LL, but the troops demand Melania remains Hon. Col. DLC (irreg.). Well, you can't blame them!

And thanks for the Assadite backgrounder. I was following the war fairly closely, in an LSP kind of way, but haven't for a while. I think that'll change; looking forward to your analysis.

The vids follow a rough pattern. NatSoc 2.0 AZOV flows into NATO sinister soundtrack ending with WAGNER PMC doing their thing in Syria. I like the last one best because of the trotting donkey.

But man, the gears of war are grinding, eh?
