Preppers, are you prepared? Widescreen and take note, my friends. Anyone for PT?

  1. Seems to be some mixed discipline on "running with rifles".

  2. Right, Ed. Camera staged? The (dis)infowar runs hot...

Whatev. Note the last guy inna line, carrying a UK rifle, is he smirking?

  3. But still, the point remains the same -- if you're gonna prep, be aware of what you're up against, and for us that's not late '70s Sov rubbish.

  4. Gunner is a little heavy on the trigger. Hope they have spare barrels. Three round bursts makes everything last longer, including ammo!

  5. I was thinking that too, WSF. Maybe he got carried away?

Years ago, when I was a child and trained on the Bren (!), 2 round bursts were the order of the day. All hail .303 :)

  6. About that heavy trigger finger.
Looks staged. I wasn't there, but what threat deserved that?

  7. What fun. I wonder if any of those places are for sale on the cheap.

  8. Ed, we can imagine the threat but I agree, perhaps staged. That in mind, it was obvs the scene of a gunfight...

  9. The question is, Kid, who's gonna rebuild the city and at what price?

  10. Rule .303, Parson.

With apologies to L-T Morant, R.I.P.:

But we bequeath a parting tip
For sound advice of such men,
Who come across in transport ships
    To polish off the....um.....Ukranians!

  11. Ha, Wild!

You know, when I was a kid I achieved marksmanship with the .303 to the total surprise of our RSM, an Ardennes vet. He was stereotypical and a good man, "Gentlemen, when it gets going there's so many men running around not even the generals know what's going on." He had a 1911, prized possession, and I hope he went on to heaven before the hollow shills in parliament stole it from him.
