You Utter Goons

Here we are, travel restricted by law, ordered to take an experimental vaccine or lose your job, censored on social media, imprisoned for protesting election fraud, and on, and at last the leaders of our churches stand up for freedom. Just kidding, they're talking about climate change.

Pope Francis, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and the risible Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, have just met and issued a "Joint Statement For The Protection Of Creation." Here's a snapshot:

We call on everyone, whatever their belief or worldview, to endeavour to listen to the cry of the earth and of people who are poor, examining their behaviour and pledging meaningful sacrifices for the sake of the earth which God has given us.

The climactic pontifs continue:

We stand before a harsh justice: biodiversity loss, environmental degradation and climate change are the inevitable consequences of our actions, since we have greedily consumed more of the earth’s resources than the planet can endure. But we also face a profound injustice: the people bearing the most catastrophic consequences of these abuses are the poorest on the planet and have been the least responsible for causing them.

Who wrote this garbage? The same people who pushed Dadaism on the Afghans? Regardless, you'd have thought the leaders of the Church, East and West, would be giving a clarion cry to salvation, to a return to the Faith in the face of manifest demonic attack. But no, all we get is warmed up greenery.

Perhaps they're following the science, the science of Hell.

Cheers,

LSP

  1. I know we're not supposed to judge others, but, uh....how can you even call these people "Clergy" any longer?

They're promoting all manner of things that are contrary to Scripture. I'm no theologist, or even particularly learned about our Bible, but this vile talk they spew is disheartening.

My Faith has gotten much stronger these last few years, and I just can't stomach what they're trying to preach...

  2. They are following the science of hell alright.
    They are demonic.
    Seriously.
    I won't be tied to a denomination.
    Only a King.

  3. I agree they are goons, but the whole COVID thing is intended to train the sheep to follow orders blindly. The current proclamations and hysteria is because they are starting to loose control so they are doubling down. The most recent also gets Afghanistan off the headlines. Climate change from your other post has been a bid in the same direction. I don’t know what has been done to recruit the religious leaders but as a side issue from conversation whit a friend after mass in our small Catholic parish in rural Alaska apperantly the Vatican has made some kind of deal with China about Christian converts there, so I agree about demonic! Also I was reading today that COVID has claimed 4.5 million world wide while 1918 flu claimed 50 million!

  5. Matthew 7, 15-20:

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

  8. Science of Hell it is, Ed. And let's not forget, Christ founded a Church, his mystical body and the ark of salvation, not a denomination. But I'll stop there before launching into a sermon :)

  9. I hear the sentiment, WSF, but let's not forget the efficacy of the sacraments doesn't depend on the worthiness of the ministers... thank God.

  10. Right on, Howard. Have you looked at The Pillar's reporting on Grindr use in the Vatican? It seems ChiCom blackmail might have been an issue viz. the Vatican/CCP concordat in 2018. That said, church leadership in the West reflects the culture, and's therefore lib, which is a scandal. Should be the other way around.
