California Collapsing?

California is famous for being incredibly rich, populous, and totally lib progressive. A veritable Millionaire Socialist utopia, or is it? Perhaps people are fleeing the Golden State for a reason. Via Zero:

Yet now, California is in terminal collapse and crisis. Governor Gavin Newsom, farcically promoted by the national Mainstream Media (MSM) as a heroic White Knight in Shining Armor in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic last spring has been exposed even in his own state as a catastrophic bungler and hypocrite who has never had a clue what he was – or more usually was not – doing. As I write, California’s sick and tired citizens are close to providing the 1.5 million signatures necessary to pull Newsom into what would certainly be a chaotic recall election.

Again:

Los Angeles, the state’s largest city and arguably the most populous now in the United States, has become a byword for violent crime and especially the stronghold of the enormous, ultraviolent and rapidly growing MS 13 organization, routinely mislabeled as a mere “gang” in media reports. MS 13 has up to 50,000 members worldwide of whom at least 10,000, officially, and probably twice as many according to the private assessments of many police officers are in LA.

And what about San Francisco, notoriously twinned with Austin?

San Francisco – America’s “anything goes” city – is in even worse shape. Its most famous, historically popular and beautiful stylish locations are now swamped with aggressive, unsanitary street people who openly urinate and defecate in the streets. Public services, long superb, are now appalling.

To say nothing of mindless, Green induced wildfires and rolling blackouts as energy follows the science and turns off. We had a taste of that in Texas last week when snow broke all the windmills.

The question is, will the rest of the country follow California's gender neutral Potato Head genius into dystopian nightmare? If the ongoing ammo shortage is anything to go buy, the people are voting "yes."

Cheers,

LSP

  1. Thank Hashem it's Friday.

I saw, at NC Renegade, a short video by Stephan M. "Cancel culture is a dress rehearsal for genocide"... and he's right. We've got the majority of the sheeple pedal to the metal for mass murder, economic collapse, and the fall of the West, and doing so enthusiastically.

And, doubtless, when things do go to sh*t, will sit there and wonder - as they roast rats over fires in the open - how this could have happened. And we who prepared to the extent we could will be excoriated for not "sharing"... and will be the target of their ire for "Why didn't you tell us"?

  2. Everyone who is leaving California will go to red states and vote for the same failed policies that made California unlivable. That is why Texas will be a blue state soon: All the California refugees (and the millions of illegal, er, sorry, undocumented Americans.)

  3. Failures failing? How refreshing.

  4. There are many conservatives in Nor Cal tied to the land that will stand and fight. Don't count them out just yet.

  5. The problem is that Newsom is white and male.

  6. As I have mentioned, wife and I escaped there n 2015. When both of us were still in grade school, Ronald Reagan was governor.

To answer your question, yes. It started when the communists got a veto proof majority in both houses of the state legislature, and it has been accelerating ever since. They have gone down the slippery slope, over the cliff, impacted the bottom of the ravine, and are now digging deeper still.

  7. I'd feel happier about it, N, if I thought we could vote this crew of kleptocrat, warmongering crooks out of office. But that doesn't seem to be the case.

I like your rat roast image. Nice one.

  8. And the GOP's a willing partner in crime, Infidel. Not that it matters much at this point, seeing as we're a one party state with no elections.

  9. Kid, maybe we'll be able to turn broken windmill debris into makeshift shelters, or some kind of weapon. After all, those enormous blades have to be good for something.

  11. RHT, they'll keep doubling down until they run outta cash. How long will that take?

  12. California is proof we can't vote our way out of this mess, IMO.
