Spot on, Parson. Did my hitch in (the former) West Germany during the mid-70's. Returned stateside and went back to school. Even then, you could see the signs that we were being out flanked. LBJ opened the door wide, squandering the values of his generation in the minds of so many of my generation, making them easy pickings.
