  1. I've enjoy Waylon for a long time. He had a powerful voice. A favorite of mine is this one written by the late great Steve Young, another artist worth listening to.

  2. Speaking of alien invaders and rambling men, how about this?

    1. They just don't get it for a second, Adrienne. Who or what abducted their minds?

  3. Got any videos of Tiny Tim? You know, he could really belt out a lively version of 'Tip Toe Through The Tulips.'

Ah, there I go again, pining away for the good ol' days; back when a guy could catch a mess of 16" trout without a boat a few blocks down from his house. Now you have to get helicoptered into a remote corner of Manitoba or the Northwest Territories, hire a local guide, a 5-figure or so trip. No catching of any fish guaranteed whatsoever.

    1. Ah, Fredd, those were the days. But not to worry, when LL gets a plane that'll cut down the cost. Maybe.

      Still don't have a boat.

  5. The ONE time I saw him was in Halifax, NS! Great show, and they were staying at the same hotel we were, so got to chat in the bar afterward. He was NOT a fan of Labatt's Blue! :-)

    1. Claim to fame, NFO! I once saw Johnny Cash + entourage in the Dorchester restaurant in London. Of all places. They were all wearing black. Heh.

      Haven't had Blue in ages...

  6. Yes, the costs for You and Me go down, but LL still has to fork over the purchase price, the maintenance, hangar costs, etc. But OUR costs are minimum, this is certainly the way to go.

Also works for boats: I love boat rides, but I prefer the owner to cough up the purchase price, the maintenance, the slip fees, etc. I just like to ride in them, not own them.
