Nancy Subzero Pelosi

You know what's going on because you read Adrienne's Corner. You know that Democrat leader Nancy Pelosi featured on CBS in front of two Subzero fridges worth $24k talking about the emotional value of $13 a tub ice cream.

All this when her party's blocking American businesses from getting loans to retain workers. What does it mean? Obviously that she has subzero respect or affinity with working people. Here's Adrienne:

Just as my heart started to return to normal I stumble on fake Catholic Pelosi standing in front of her very expensive refrigerator touting how she soothes herself with ice cream that costs $13.00 a pint.  Hey, not to worry dirt people - you can have it delivered for about $19.00.
Is it possible to be anymore arrogant and tone deaf?  I doubt it.  Over 22 million people are out of work wondering how they're going to pay their mortgage or rent, put food on the table, and care for their families and this arrogant multi-millionaire is telling them to buy ice cream?

Pelosi's net worth is a nifty $140 million, not bad on a congressional salary. But how did Nancy get so rich? By being a MARKET SEER who, for example, bought $5 million in Amazon stock just before retailers were forced to shut. That stock's risen from from 1.6k to over 2k, earning the Pelosis over a million dollars in just 10 weeks.

Nice money, right? For a Socialist.

Seriously, does the corruption of our rulers know no bounds? Pitchforks and Torches down the Mall.

Cheers,

LSP

  1. If I was not such a market idiot, I too would have bought a bunch of Amazon stock. Just today I was mourning the fact that I had no upcoming Amazon orders to receive.

Problem is - fake Catholic Piglosi has insider knowledge - something with which we dirt people don't have access.

Not to worry. Soon she will have to explain herself to the supreme judgement of our God. What I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall.

Will I fare any better? I can pray and I can Hope.

  2. She comes from the Baltimore D'Alesandro crime family so you may well say it is genetic. Her husband has a financial firm. Does consulting. How convenient is that for bribes?

  3. While I love ice cream, and it is getting to be ice cream season, I'm not about to spend that kind of money on it. Must be nice to be a wealthy socialist, and if you're in Congress, you don't even have to work.

  4. I am a pessimist when it comes to human nature. Do I expect Pelosi to be punished by the voters come November? Nope. She will be reelected in a landslide. With the hot and heavy support of the MSM.

Same with Octavio-Cortez. We are stuck with here. 50 years from now she will still be in office afflicting all freedom lovers.

  6. I know, Adrienne, judge not... still, she's a rare specimen of venality and corruption. Does the hypocrisy of Left know no bounds? Apparently not.

  8. Good call, WSF. Worth a post all of its own.

  9. I like ice cream too, Jim. And it's weird but true, the wealthy tend to spend far more money on the same things that everyone else has for not that much more benefit. My ice cream costs 6 bucks a tub. Nancy's costs twice that. Difference in quality? Not much.

  10. Infidel, I fear you're right.

Have you been following the celeb superstar talent show WHO fundraiser? Perhaps you should restart the blog. Just a thought.

  11. What was it Truman said? The only way to make money in government service is to be a crook. Something like that.

I have an MBA but I deliberately have not pursued a management career. Why? I've too many instances of managers openly (and provably) lying. I've seen managers fire people who were good workers because they were told to - including me. I've had a few good managers, but for the most part my impression is that the higher they go, the more cr*pweasel they become.

I need to look at myself in the mirror. And, at the end of my life, answer for my life.

In Judaism it's said that at your judgment you are shown two movies - one movie of your life, the other how it could have been had you chosen correctly each time. And that the soul screams at all the lost chances to choose correctly. As I work towards being a better man, husband, father, and Jew, I hope that those divergences between ideal and real grow fewer.

  12. N -- I'm totally with you. Trust in the all encompassing mercy and love of God. Therein, of course, lies righteousness and judgement but... yes. More anon.
