It's been a momentous and historic day. President Trump's finally unveiled the logo of the Sixth Branch of our Military, the SPACE FORCE. Here at the Compound we think a picture's worth a thousand words.
All this to say nothing of 45's address to the March For Life, the first president to do so in person. But more on that later.

Cute... :-) Problem is the Air Farce got control, which means the commanders of the units won't be able to make decisions without phoning home... sigh
ReplyDeleteOld NFO beat me! Note the logo says, "Department of Air Force". Not a true sixth branch - somewhat like the Marine Corps being under the Navy's thumb.
ReplyDeleteWhen the Vulcan ship lands in Montana and helps the USA with warp drive technology, everyone will be saying "Live long and prosper."
ReplyDeleteI also don't care for it being under the wing of the Air Force. Of course, the Army Air Corps became the independent Air Force, maybe the same will happen here.

ReplyDeleteLL, some say the Space Force logo's been copied from Star Trek. But this is absurd, everyone knows Starfleet's a creation of the 22nd century. They got the design from us.
