He was a POSER, and to the best of my knowledge, he never signed articles with the Dallas Light Cavalry (which would never wear BLUE hats). I realize that the homage is to be appreciated by somebody as well known as Lemmy. Maybe he left an endowment behind to the DLC. Since I am not the regimental purser, I don't know. Maybe inquiries should be made with his estate to see if they forgot his promise...

I'm amazed he lasted this long -- well, he lived fast (very) and died in the same way. Great bassist.
ReplyDeleteAlso, he seems to have become a cavalryman in his later years -- see headgear...

ReplyDeleteYou're right, he may have played bass but he was never in the regiment. But let's see if his estate remembered the DLC.
ReplyDeleteOr indeed the Adolf Hitler Standarte
ReplyDeleteI don't think Lemmy was a member of LSAH (Liebstandarte Adolf Hitler), despite some of his, er, outfits, Lukeya.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the video of him in a Jagdpanther?
