Elites are not judged on the same scale as the proles. It's like Al Gore or Hillary flying from speaking engagement to speaking engagement, burning fossil fuel for one person instead of boarding a flying cattle car like the common folks.
This is another of an unending pile of examples of these hypocrites demanding that the rest of us live in caves and ride public transportion, since its good for the environment.
Since they are our betters, of course, they are owed just a smidge larger share of our resources.
