Hog Poetry

I know, I know, it's been a long while since I posted a hog poem and I apologize for that. But here's something, inspired by Manhattan Infidel.

“Master thyself, then others shall thee beare”
     Pull down thy vanity
Thou art a beaten hog beneath the hail,
A swollen magpie in a fitful sun,
Half black half white
Nor knowst’ou wing from tail
Pull down thy vanity
     How mean thy hates
Fostered in falsity,
     Pull down thy vanity,
Rathe to destroy, niggard in charity,
Pull down thy vanity,
I say pull down the trigger,
And slay the hog.

With no apologies to Mr. Pound.

  1. "half black - half white" ...niggard in charity... why, he's slandering POTUS!

  2. I'm afraid this poem may be racist. I thought it was just about shooting wild pigs!

  3. My hedgehog feels discriminated against. Why doesn't she have an ode on your blog? She's threatening to sue.

  4. Look here, Jenny. I'm not a hater, but I'll see your hedgehog in court.

  5. This is outrageous. A hedgehog is just as hog poem worthy as a wild hog. You are implying that she is not an ACTUAL hog, which is preposterous and offensive.

The emotional damage you've inflicted is causing her to overeat. She hasn't gotten out of her little sleeping bag all day. (Yes, she's nocturnal, but today it is due to depression.)

You simply have no right to refuse to dedicate a poem to her on your personal blog.

  6. Next thing I know you'll be refusing to bake her a cake or claiming some ridiculous personal freedom of speech.
We all know that "discrimination" is the ultimate sin.
