Happy Earth Day!

Everyone loves Earth Day, and no one more so than us at Team LSP. So here's a little Gaia prayer to help us with that.

Our Mother whose body is the Earth,
Blessed are you,
And blessed are all the fruits of your womb.
You give us this day our daily bread,
And we share it with others.
Our Mother whose body is the Earth,
We love you with all our hearts,
And our neighbors as ourselves.

Beautiful, isn't it.

  1. If I walked around San Francisco wearing antlers and beating a drum, I'd fit in and nobody would notice.

  4. I do believe Gaia hijacked a very important prayer there. The first Islamic terrorist, perhaps? (Only with a lot less hijab)

  5. Earth Day? How triumphalist! Does the rest of the galaxy celebrate so-called "Earth Day?"

    I think not.

  6. It's like that in Austin, too, LL. The antlers? Sustainable, of course.

  9. You're right, Jenny. Gaia pagans are clearly terrorists. Green terrorists.

  11. After re-reading this post, I'm almost convinced to be a pagan since they seem to have more fun, and they are completely politically correct. I am nearly positive that if you started something like Earthday.org, that you could receive funding from George Soros or from the Clinton Foundation.

Imagine that, you could wear sustainable antlers every day, beat a drum, get paid for it -- possibly go on a speaking tour to high schools nationwide, and earn princely pay at the same time.

The only thing more politically correct than that would be to declare yourself to be in the process of becoming transgendered.

  12. I see an "earthday" app. Perhaps you could speak to the developers?

Maybe Bruce Jenner would be a sponsor.
