In a new initiative to promote religious pluralism, Duke University will broadcast the Muslim call to prayer every Friday on campus. The call to prayer—also known as “adhan”—will be chanted by the Duke Muslim Student Association.
If they want to be inclusive, will they also play Native American rain chants over the loud speaker? Will they play a recording of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing "Come, Come ye Saints"? Will they play Gregorian chants at vespers?
No, I think not, The Religion of Peace and Tolerance would never stand for it.
