Space Empire

If you go to LL's excellent blog you'll find the question; if Christ's second advent or second coming is going to happen, whatever the time or hour, why expand into space? Whoa, let's reflect on this for a moment:

Space is deep eh? And here at the Compound we're all in favor of the Lone Star State expanding its mission, yes, into the icy void of deep space. First step? Build a space elevator out of Houston after a fusion powerplant sets up at Marpearl. Limitless energy.

Then, setup onna Moon, it being the nearest quasi planetary body and an excellent training ground for our further expansion into the last and final frontier. After that?

Mars, obviously, and then the moons of the gas giants and asteroids. Perhaps asteroids sooner, Texas can mine them to propel its Total Space Dominance (TSD). You see what we're saying?

Texas, we have lift off. And as always, and to answer the question, Deus Vult

Nothing To See Here

Via Zero:

Among the boldest and eye-brow raising political moves by embattled Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev within the past days that grabbed international headlines was his ordering the arrest of Kazakhstan's powerful former intelligence chief, Karim Massimov, on the charge of high treason.

Indicating that amid widespread fuel price unrest which quickly became aimed squarely at toppling Tokayav's rule there's a simultaneous power struggle within the government, Massimov had headed the National Security Committee (KNB) up until his Thursday sudden removal and detention. Massimov had served as the prior longtime strongman ruler Nursultan Nazarbayev's prime minister and has long been considered his "right hand man". Shortly after, a photo has resurfaced, currently subject of widespread speculation which shows Joe Biden and Hunter Biden posing with the now detained Kazakh security chief Karim Massimov, along with well-connected oligarch Kenes Rakishev.

10% to the Big Guy? Whatever, don't say snouts down, pigs at the trough.

Cultural Orthodoxy

A talented young horsewoman, writer, law student and all 'round good person gave a presentation on Washington today. It was interesting, under our own vines and fig trees wrote the founding father, quoting Micah the prophet. Falling back to Vernon and the good life, he resigned his commission and retired from public life. An 18th C Cincinnatus, perhaps.

He fled the "cultural orthodoxy" of his time, she suggested. "What does that mean, today?" asked one listener. Cultural Orthodoxy, today? Well that's easy. A kind of corporate sponsored identipol fascist tyranny in which you'd better bake the cake.

Or we can look at it another way. Open your borders because compassion, so workers' wages drop because need moar G7 jetshare. Come on, those private planes don't come cheap, serfs. So vote for the rainbow and your own extinction.

Perhaps you've noticed how our rulers party without masks but their waitstaff peasant serfs remain muzzled. Get boosted, untermensch. Every. Month. Don't worry, you won't fall down dead with a heart attack. You're protecting the people you love.

All hail our rainbow rulers.

On The Road

With apologies to Mr. Kerouac, I've been on the road lately, driving across the Texan country to visit the sick, tend the flock and take care of business.

And mess with tractors. That aside, the road took me to an old friend, Colonel E, who was languishing on the sickbed. Except that he wasn't. Full recovery, please. We prayed.

It was a good visit and full of memories. Many, many ride outs from his place to Lake Waco and plenty of racing to boot. 200 yard gallop? On! And beyond, to the trail by the little regional airport where you could really pick up steam and go flat out. Fast and flat. Big fun.

But that was then. Yesterday was communion from the reserved sacrament and with that, the true light which enlightens every man coming into the world entered my friend's home and soul.

The people, you understand, that sat in darkness saw a great light. Praise God for that.

Ride On,

Epiphany Insurrection

A Typical Threat to Democracy

Today's January 6, the Feast of the Epiphany, the Manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles. Gold, Frankincense, Myrrh. It's also a day that will live in infamy.

That's right, this time one year ago, 1 million extremists shook the foundations of our hallowed Constitutional Republic by daring to protest their absurd, nonsensical, conspiracy theory that the US elections were somehow "rigged."

Pearl Harbor was nothing on the J6 INSURRECTION!

What brazen, literal, fascist insurrection. It was like a coup, a putsch by Hitler, Pinochet or Franco. Like Pearl Harbor or planes crashing into the World Trade Center or the Pentagon itself, these literal Nazis, in the pay of Russia, yes, Russia, walked into the Capitol and took selfies. Then they left. Such utter, literal, brazen Nazis.

You Utter Nazis. Democracuy Nearly Died.

Thank Gaia they've been locked up in solitary confinement for the past year. How dare you threaten our ruling elite overlords, you Hitletites. In the meanwhile, serfs, roll over and get your shot every six months because, you know, Pfizer doesn't want to get any richer.

And the Left loves it. But what about everyone else, will there be an epiphany? And while we're at it, why are our ruling millionaire socialists so afraid of a coup, aren't they more popular than any other Party in history? So wear your masks, peasants.

Your Old Friend,

LSP

Ad Inferos

This man's been made a Knight. Please don't throw up in your mouth.

And this corrupt old charlatan's the most popular president in the history of the United States.

They say, perhaps unkindly, that people get the kind of government they deserve. Perhaps so, but surely we the people deserve better than these fraudulent, self-serving, corrupt, deceitful, malfeasant, snake oil mountebanks.

Perhaps, at some point, people will rise up against our ruling gerontocracy and say enough's enough. Ad Inferos. I don't say that lightly.

Over to you, gentle readers,

What If The Largest Experiment On Human Beings In History Is A Failure?

Have you noticed a recent report from One America life insurance company CEO Scott Davison, saying deaths are up 40% this year in working age Americans, 18-64? That's a huge, bottom line destroying increase, maybe you want to divest from One America and it's sickly sisters. But what's causing the sigma spike mortality surge.

COVID? If so, Federal Mask 'n Vax policy isn't cutting it. If not, then surely our experimental, data sealed for 75 years vaccines aren't responsible for a massive uptick in deaths. Either way, bad news. Via ZeroHedge:

Here is what lit me up in this report from The Center Square contributor Margaret Menge.

“The head of Indianapolis-based insurance company OneAmerica said the death rate is up a stunning 40% from pre-pandemic levels among working-age people.

“We are seeing, right now, the highest death rates we have seen in the history of this business – not just at OneAmerica,” the company’s CEO Scott Davison said during an online news conference this week. “The data is consistent across every player in that business.”

And on:

AT A MINIMUM, based on my reading, one has to conclude that if this report holds and is confirmed by others in the dry world of life insurance actuaries, we have both a huge human tragedy and a profound public policy failure of the US Government and US HHS system to serve and protect the citizens that pay for this “service”.

IF this holds true, then the genetic vaccines so aggressively promoted have failed, and the clear federal campaign to prevent early treatment with lifesaving drugs has contributed to a massive, avoidable loss of life.

AT WORST, this report implies that the federal workplace vaccine mandates have driven what appear to be a true crime against humanity.  Massive loss of life in (presumably) workers that have been forced to accept a toxic vaccine at higher frequency relative to the general population of Indiana.

FURTHERMORE, we have also been living through the most massive, globally coordinated propaganda and censorship campaign in the history of the human race.  All major mass media and the social media technology companies have coordinated to stifle and suppress any discussion of the risks of the genetic vaccines AND/OR alternative early treatments.

IF this report holds true, there must be accountability.  We are not just talking about running over the first amendment of the Constitution of the United States and grinding it into the mud with an army of artificial intelligence-powered heavy infantry. This article reads like a dry description of an avoidable mass casualty event caused by a mandated experimental medical procedure. One for which all opportunities for the victims to have become self-informed about the potential risks have been methodically erased from both the internet and public awareness by an international corrupt cabal operating under the flag of the “Trusted News Initiative”. George Orwell must be spinning in his grave.

I hope I am wrong.  I fear I am right.

I fear he is too,

Bit of This a Bit of That

GWB fired up his SatPhone and fired off an encrypted message from Georgia:

Remember when Trump focused on jobs for American workers? WHAT. A. NAZI. And he wanted to make America great, like some kind of unhinged Fascist Mussolini. And maybe you remember how he had the lowest black unemployment in US history. RACIST.

I ran the key, decoded the message and remembered. Yes, Nazi, Fascist, Racist, that was 45 and, lest we forget, he was also a RUSSIAN SPY! Like a Nazi agent in the pay of the KGB, which would make him a double agent, no! A triple agent. Huh, far out, and Putin's Chief of CHAOS.

Seriously, was there ever such garbage spewed out by the gesticulating, smug, pugnacious, wealthy, corrupt, lying, malfeasant, smug Media? The same "press" which assures us that we're all going to die unless we obey the mandates of a doddering old crook who's the most popular president in all of the nation's history. Let's go Brandon.

In related news, the Anglican Diocese of Niagara's shut its doors for fear of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus. Why, we have to ask, are churches in Texas and Florida so much more immune to this deadly plague than their equivalents in Ontario. Is it because the further north you are the weaker you become, or some other thing?

Cheers,

Skywatchers & Poets

By way of a Sunday Sermon, a former Provost of *x sent this in:

Warned of brigands, we did the last leg up from the Jordan ford at night.
It wasn’t just the star we followed; the trail is marked by past myriad feet
Trudging through history, theirs and ours. To Babylon enchained, the plight
Of captives, they first came to us; we sent most back long years ago. To meet
Again at Zion’s gate their offspring thus seemed strange. ‘We come in peace,’
I said, and our Chaldean speech was close enough. A coin was further grease;

They let us in. ‘What do you seek?’ an elder spokesman asked. ‘We seek a King,” A soldier heard and laughed: ‘They have a ‘king’—Caesar’s joke—proceed this way.”
The palace, unremarkable save for the surly guards, had a courtyard, something
Like a water trough, yet no one offered to stable our camels, even give them hay.
‘King’ Herod professed no knowledge of a royal birth, just arched his brow
And said his priests told him of Bethlehem the prophecy, urged us to go now

And seek the child there, then bear him directions so he could worship too.
We did not tell him all we knew, that long before the mystery star appeared
In our old library one of us had found a scroll, “God saves” by name. Through
Its tattered pages were mentions of a coming Jewish king, less to be feared
Than welcomed, “a light to lighten the Gentiles,” as they call us. Now light
Is what we scholars seek, wisdom, not merely order in the skies at night.

We read the texts and pondered much, and then one night a light arose
Such as we had never seen. Rotating not, it stayed; then grew and glowed
In the Western sky, brighter to our eyes each night. Balthasar proposed
We take it as the portent of a great event, even as their prophet showed
Would come to Israel. After a year to gaze and think we gathered gear, set
Out along the road and came slowly to that backward land. There we met

With such a contradiction, so it seemed, to everything one might expect.
But lo, the star grew brighter still, and once we were along the winding road
To Bethlehem, it slipped down the sky and waited there. You may reject
Our tale, and few would blame you, but hear the rest: the camel load
Of gifts we brought were suitable to a royal babe, but when we found
The very place it was a simple house and shop. We stopped. Around

Was not a single noble dwelling, yet compelled to look within we asked
The carpenter outside if he knew of an unusual birth nearby. He raised
His eyes aloft, and palms upraised spoke words we couldn’t catch,
Then paused as if to hear some far-off distant sound. Somewhat fazed,
We waited till at last he turned to us and softly said,“ The house is small.
I’ll bring Mary and the child outside. It will be better then for all.”

And so she came, her little one beside her, hand in hand; she smiled
But did not speak. “Many have come,” said the carpenter, “but none
So far away as you.” Immediately we were struck by her manner, mild
But assured as one accustomed to a noble state. She sat next her son
While Joseph fetched hay and water for our camels, bid us also rest.
He looked as any other child might look—except his steady gaze, lest

I forget, which made his face seem wiser than his years. After an hour,
With simple food and drink sufficed, we knew without a doubt some power
Was here, deeper than speech. I nodded to Melchior; he brought the sacks
And we than laid before them gifts, gold, frankincense and myrrh. “Lacks
You may have, but these should help,” I said. Mary was overcome with tears,
Joseph astounded-- grateful. The little child himself then spoke. Our ears

Distinctly heard the word “todah,” and then he smiled. We rose and went
Our way, but in a dream were warned, so bypassed that city on a hill, sent
Eastward by another way. Little was as we expected; much more was lent
In wisdom, grace and gratitude. Something great was coming yet, meant
To save the world, not as we would expect it, but in a mystery deeper far,
The weak and helpless shall achieve it. We were led to see it by a star.

We were led to see it by a star.

New Year's Day - What Will Tomorrow Bring?

A friend sent this, what does it mean?!?

So here we are at the beginning of a new year, it's rolled around yet again and we're still standing, for the most part. All well and good, but what will tomorrow bring? Good question.

It may bring rain or it may bring snow or any old thing, such is our old enemy, the Weather. Perhaps it will bring stagflation, Weimar style and we'll all be hauling our crypto  home in wheelbarrows as one bullet = >1000 USD$. Maybe there'll be war because, after all, too much peace ain't good for the bottom line and, of course, there'll be plague, we know this. Wear your masks, serfs, and don't you dare question a rigged midterm, you hate extremists. Mirror of Illusion? Cubed.

Whatever, welcome to the hideous new normal, but think on this. At Christmas we celebrated the advent of Christ into the world, the Word made Flesh, and the eternal light which shines in the darkness becoming flesh, a man, for our salvation. The Light has come down to earth to be the Light of the World and we behold, through the eyes of faith, his glory, full of grace and truth.

Stand fast to him, our redeemer, in this new year. Flee from sin, from the Herods who would destroy him and be filled with confident, joyful hope. All the raging, insane powers of Hell, to say nothing of the world and the flesh cannot defeat the divine life present within us. If, and that's just it, if we remain faithful.

Adeste,
