For us it was the old FN FAL (L1A1 or SLR). An Israeli friend of mine says, "Oh yes, the Broomstick."<br /><br />Did you have the expression "drunk on parade"? (punishable...) I thought that was military hyperbole, until I discovered it wasn't.<br /><br />And right, the M16 & AR are pretty much the same weapon. I like mine a lot, dirty little beast though.LSPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08120630078039958644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3407817413258733695.post-67495651660918154982016-12-02T08:59:29.758-08:002016-12-02T08:59:29.758-08:00 LL, they might just start getting them regardless... And drunk (this simulates normal garrison living conditions). If you do it a few thousand times, you get the knack for it, both in drinking beers and cleaning M-16s. This AR-15 above looks pretty similar, only difference really is the selector switch on the M-16 has one more position; full auto.Freddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10778430453468720627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3407817413258733695.post-25569371636385157852016-12-01T20:29:08.286-08:002016-12-01T20:29:08.286-08:00Maybe the day will come when honest Europeans will...Maybe the day will come when honest Europeans will be able to own arms and use them for their defense.
