Different topic: Different topic: Medicine and religion are supposed to be trustworthy but the recent stories of medical personnel ... then this came up today in our local news: who does one trust anymore. Just you, divemedic, and BRM I guess.
"A Nampa Catholic priest accused of raping a minor entered a guilty plea inside a Canyon County courthouse Tuesday afternoon. Robert Mendez Esquivel, also known in the community as "Father Toto," faced charges including rape and two counts of sexual battery of a minor child, 16 or 17 years of age.
Crusty Old TV Tech here. "The official public blame for this failure was left with Prime Minister Gladstone for delaying several months to authorise a rescue, to the considerable anger expressed in public of Queen Victoria.", as Wokipedia would have it. As usual, the poor benighted Tommy and his magnificent leader were let down by the rascals in Westminster. Same as it ever was.
Nifty vid on him at The History Chap, YT.
ReplyDeleteNice one, ed.
