Prison Island?
Prison Island? You be the judge as you read all about it at Eternally Radical. Vaguely on topic, Rev Tommy Robinson appears to be mounting a challenge to the venerable if dying on its rainbow hooves Church of England.
I just hope that the US' low number doesn't inspire our DOJ to try harder and start locking up more people to keep up with Britain and Germany. Of course, over here we don't throw people in jail for what they post online: we just enforce the unofficial (for now) Social Credit Score and deny them school admissions, employment opportunities, access to various things, etc.
NW, I have to admit stats can be a curious thing. That aside, have you noticed how using half-measures to put down dissent has a strange way of backfiring?
Even better for Britain, for most crimes there will no longer be a jury trial, but only a judge.
This is what happens when you are subjects, with no real rights, versus citizens.
And most US arrests for 'having a smart mouth/fingers' were done during the Biden administration. Funny that. Like all the people who were arrested for 1st Amendment violations during Obama's era, or the Clinton's era...
