Please Make It Stop

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) told something called MS NOW that immigrants from Somalia, India, and Africa built this country and make it "what it is today."

“The majority of Americans across the country, regardless of political party, know that immigrants from all over the world, Somalia, India, wherever they’re from, Latin America, Africa, that immigrants have built this country and make this country what it is today,” stated Jaypal.

No they didn't, unless you count the Founding Fathers who were mostly Somalians, obviously.

Please make it stop,

  1. The most horrible thing about this word salad is they often believe what they are spouting. Let me take a shot. The perfidious English brought in the Irish, the Italians, the Germans, etc. as wage slaves and that built this country.

    1. I get it, WSF, immigrants built America and, at least initially, colonists. How many of them were from Somalia on welfare.

  3. Yeah because India and Africa were centers of high tech civilizations that were far superior to those cave-dwelling descendants of Anglo-Euro trash.

At least India understood, to a point, the concept of the wheel. Which is something sub-Saharan Africa, even after being shown it over and over and over again, still has trouble understanding and never really grokked the concept until recently.

Yes, portions of India gave us the actual Arabic Numerals (stolen as all good things arabic tend to be) but, still, well, yeah, only recently have our inner cities fallen to Indian middle-class standards...

    1. Interesting India point, Beans. Sure, the Indians advanced high on the totem pole of civilization, no doubt about it, but then they stopped and we didn't. Whether the West will keep this advantage is another matter again.

  8. Nationalist, not racist. American blacks and feathered Indians are our people. African blacks and dot Indians are not. Throw arabs and persians in there too.
I didn't used to feel this way but "they" succeeded in transforming me.

    1. Anon, there's a certain level of exhaustion right about now and remember, everything the Left does produces the opposite of its intended effect. It's like an axiom.

Racist or Realist? I dare you to publish that paper at Harvard Press.

  12. Crusty Old TV Tech here. If one considers the origins of the nations that made up the founding of the United States of America, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Spain, the Netherlands, a little German (von Steuben et. Al.) and Italian, they are all either Celt or Germanic, with an Italic substrate courtesy of the Romans. Spain you say? Celt and German, Goths, Visigoths, and the native Celts present before the Germanic tribes invaded, then Roman Italic. France? Celt and Frankish (Germanic). Anglo-Saxon? Germanic. So, while a common ancestral DNA heritage may not be 100% of the reason for the US founding, it certainly is not zero!

  13. Koreans, Poles and Portuguese have very little in common with each other except, they come here, work hard, learn English and settle in. Within Five years they’ve got a favorite NFL or MLB team, they obey the rules, they ask for nothing and end up well off. They come from cultures founded on respect, personal integrity and family responsibility. They are nothing like Somalis
