Is This How It Ends?

We can but hope.

Of course this is totally hypothetical in the US. In related news, El Senor's threatening to sue the UK's pugnacious, deceitful, smug, condescending, agitprop, statist, rainbow dupe shill BBC, for over a billion bucks. Yes please.

  1. Some wag has posted the so-far-fake-news that the BBC is increasing the television tax by 300% to cover the lawsuit.

But being caught in such a horribly bad version of deceptive editing? Well, if the lawsuit fits...

    1. I don't care that the BBC is increasing the cost of listening to it by 300% to pay President Trump a billion dollars. The UK still has an annual TV License (tax), which funds the BBC and other services. It is compulsory fee for households that watch or record live television, use BBC iPlayer, or stream BBC content. The current annual fee is \(£174.50\) for a color license and \(£58.50\) for black and white. If I lived in Old Blighty, I'd get rid of my TV and get what I could on a satellite feed well apart from the censored British media (and US MSM as well while we're on the topic.

    3. I think, LL, that more than a few have taken your advice, and who can blame them.

  2. Sic semper bastardi communisticus.

Tokarevs are loud guns and no way Sumdood popped off a TT-33 that close without blowing out some eardrums. Totally worth it, however.....

    1. What an excellent slogan, Wild!

I think the movie's great but the death scene's... figurative.

  3. I highly recommend the film "The Death of Stalin", it is a comedic take on the paranoia, political maneuvering, and subterfuge of the Soviet leadership after the death of Stalin.

  4. I think that the way it should end is by doing things like enforcing anti-trust laws against the Media so that we have independent and competitive outlets again that have to rely on truth instead of sensationalism or go broke. All of this Lawfare and political pressure so that people like Ellison, Musk, Murdoch, and Koch can run the monopolies instead doesn't seem like much of an improvement.

    1. I'm for an independent media too, NW. In the old days we used to talk about an objective and "free press." Mind you, I like and enjoy partisan press as long as it doesn't pretend otherwise unlike, say, the NYT.

  5. Two high profile BBC executives leaving may be a move to appease El Senior.

    1. I saw that, WSF. Let's hope he isn't deflected from suing those charlatans into oblivion.
